Kwame Brown Talks 'Beefs' With Stephen Jackson, Stephen A. Smith & EMASCULATED ESPN | Ep 72

- Опубліковано 28 жов 2024
- Whitlock welcomes former NBA player and newly minted UA-cam star Kwame Brown for an hourlong discussion on sports, masculinity, and the personal battles of basketball’s 2001 No. 1 overall draft pick. Does Brown agree with Jason that ESPN now stands for Emasculated Sports Personalities Network? Why are their mutual stances against Stephen A. Smith not just about personal beefs? Kwame gives his brutally honest takes on Kyrie Irving, Lil Nas X, LaVar Ball, Dave Chappelle, Boyce Watkins, Stephen Jackson, and Matt Barnes. No one should miss this very special “explosion of masculinity” on “Fearless.”

Men, of all colors need to speak up and start telling the truth. I love it, thabk you Kwame.
I bought into the whole “draft bust” that the media portrayed of Kwame during his time in the NBA. I was naive and brainwashed. This is a successful man. God bless
He is a bust of a #1 overall draft pick. He didn't live up to the expectations that come with being drafted that high. If he was drafted 20th nobody would say anything. He wasn't the 1st and won't be the last bust. Ryan Leaf, Jamarcus Russell, Johnny Manziel... The list goes on.

I’m 25 years old, my entire thought process of kwame brown has been what Stephen A has created on espn. I used to wonder how is someone on the Lakers “a bonafide scrub, that can’t play” like just pure logic would tell you he’s in the nba he must be something I mean damn. But once a narrative is created and emotional investment is behind it ppl like Stephen A will fight to the death to protect that narrative

At one point I didn’t like Mr Whitlock, but after this interview I gained some respect for him. Finally a man standing up and being a man.
Brother me too
I didn't either, but one more than just this interview I have found myself identifying with what he was saying and now appreciate him. Key for me was to listen fully to the person before judging
Welcome but JW has been standing up for a pretty long time. I remember him back in the early early 2000s filling in for Jim Rome on the radio and even while in big media he never spouted the company line and did call out race baiting, bad behavior, hypocrisy in a reflective tone though when people could still think a little bit for themselves and not just jump on the propaganda and media uprising being created for the week to fit the divisive narrative.
Me too. I have a whole different perspective on Jason Whitlock
Whitlock is an enemy of the current system in America, the one that makes you call a man in a dress a woman, the one that puts emotions over facts, that keeps racism and division in the society as it makes it easier for them to keep on governing.
Jason, thank you for speaking out on truth and keeping man hood alive. I also appreciate your freedom to share your belief in Jesus. Keep up the amazing work!

Kwame Brown said stop teaching our children CRT and start teaching STEM and trades in our schools! I’ve been saying that for years. I work in technology for a tech company and Black people are highly under represented in tech. There’s a shortage of skilled trades men… HVAC techs, Electricians, Carpenters, Plumbers, and heavy machinery workers are in dire need! If the children truly are our future why are we not setting them up for success in life? It’s extremely disturbing!
China is making farms of kids that are coding on next level. Why don't the government invest in the yute
@@NoSpinster0909 because history is nuanced. It is not as simple as white people being historical opressors and black folk being historically oppressed.
The other issue with CRT is that embraces victimhood. And when you fall into that line of thinking that will lead to dangerous results
@@NoSpinster0909 I believe that history that factually accurate should be taught in school but I also think that history should be taught at home as well. I just think we need balance and that kids should graduate high school with skills that will help them provide for themselves and their families.
Jason Whitlock is 2 faced….he just called out other brothers by name and called them punks and emasculated but then can turn around and co-sign Kwame Brown against the people that criticized him. Child please!

Man just imagine a teenager up against a machine such as jordan, Steven A and the media etc DAMN 💯
Kwame is full of it. Kwame "fought back", because he had notthing to show for his life post an NBA career. He had no community project to show for, no small jobs, no community partnerships, nothing except he went back home with a little money, and lived hood fabulous. Not withstanding his drug possession arrest, which added on to his DUI conviction, added onto his interfering with police conviction.
It's real easy to shut down people who talk crap about your busted career when you can lay on the table how your busted career created opportunities to opened doors for your children, people within your inner circle, and those in your community.
Finally note: People in the sorts community have been very quiet about Kwame's stolen $17m from his financial advisor that as of yet been recovered. No matter how much he made during his career, he did not earn enough for $17m not to radically change his post NBA life. Which will lead those with at least some working brain cell to figure out all this "smoke" he's bringing is just an attempt to earn money off of UA-cam. It has nothing do with pride and redemption.

I remember Kwame coming to the casino I worked at and this while he was playing. Very cool brother. Played on my craps table totally chill brother
This is one intelligent brother. Definitely earned a subscribe from me.
🙏🏼
Straight up
FACTOID.
Kwame Brown was a 3.9 GPA High School Student. Then came the NBA. #1. Reconcile.
Mr Whitlock the world needs people like you
Kwame is a blessing to men. Haven’t seen anybody this poise, wise, and intelligent since Malcolm X.. so much respect especially in 2021.
🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️SMFH SAID MALCOLM X KWAME DO NOT HAVE A MOVEMENT KWAME DO NOT PUT FEAR IN THE GOVERNMENT HE NOTHING LIKE MALCOLM X KWAME THE 🤡
@@Buddah5537 so if he put no fear in the government then why do they send they minions in the media to attack him left and right, and try to ruin his image?? Why do they Buffer and freeze his UA-cam lives?? Oh ok..

Jason, you have to bring Kwame back on the show.
Love when an educated man speaks his truth, no matter who it offends.
Lol
As a 77 year old Vietnam Era veteran who was drafted and also a white male I couldn’t believe the crying, whining and blubbering over an 11 year old email. These guys and ESPN are a disgrace. Congrats to Jason and Kwame for sharing their beliefs.
He wasn't crying about an 11 year old email he cried because it reminded him about how that kind of talk effected him as early as high school and almost kept him from making the NFL he didn't really elaborate on that part a lot because it was painful go back and watch it again.
Loved this. I subscribed to Kwame's page. Much love, all the props. God bless y'all
You won't be there long
Rustin, Im sure Kwame will appreciate you joining his channel b/c this young man will open your eyes too a lot….. Seriously!!!!
@@greengoblin8331 I subscribed to him months ago. I don’t always agree with what he says or how he says it but he is always interesting.
I applaud you both. Great conversation, yet even better example of how we should proceed henceforth, now and forever.
Kwame Brown checked everybody. That momma’s cooking is the truth. He keeps it 💯. He’s calling out everybody that came for him. I also like the fact he stood up for Lavar Ball. I most definitely enjoyed the interview.
💯💯😂
Lol dude is in his feelings cause he wasn't good and people said so.
Bravo! Excellent, genuine conversation with both men respecting each other as men. I hope both young and old will glean from this much needed conversation. Blessings....
Man that was a great interview 🙌
This is an interview that every black male should see. It is as authentic of an interview that I have ever seen.
I really love how Kwame keeps everything real.
Lmao I do not need any athlete telling me anything about life. Where was all this when he was playing
Nah I’m good
Nah not by Jason Whitlock
I watched it and I'm still in the mind that Crymae and Shitlock are terrible examples of manhood...🤷🏿♂️
Exactly this man dissed Kap on live t.v. Kwame talking all this bull shit did he look that video up
Kwame is always bring that (real talk) mama's cooking!!!
DAMN IT WHITLOCK THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿💯💯💯💯💯
You know things have gone so far in one direction, that when common sense & truth being spoke is some sort of miracle revelation.
💯💯💯
Damn this was real
*BRAVO* 👏🏼 What an interview🔥 Thank you Jason Witlock. When I started following Kwame, I had no idea who he was--but defense of himself made me know who he was right now. Just hearing him speak with such heart-felt authenticity and a fierceness that was undeniably both raw and wholesome, I felt gripped, pulled away from wherever I was....and I haven't looked back. Kwame is excellent and I'm so happy it was showcased right here.
Don’t thank Jason Whitlock. He is just using Kwame because as of now Whitlock has absolutely no good will with any black athletes. He was, and always will be, the white man’s attack dog. If you notice he was trying to get Kwame to get political about the vaccine mandates. Because he is always about trying to appease the white man.
Finally, a show with balls!!!
Yes, I’m man enough to join the Fearless Army!!!
not gone lie didnt always rock with Whitlock like that , but after the intro, I can say im fearless right there with you brother !!!
