Kwame Brown Talks 'Beefs' With Stephen Jackson, Stephen A. Smith & EMASCULATED ESPN | Ep 72

  • Whitlock welcomes former NBA player and newly minted UA-cam star Kwame Brown for an hourlong discussion on sports, masculinity, and the personal battles of basketball’s 2001 No. 1 overall draft pick. Does Brown agree with Jason that ESPN now stands for Emasculated Sports Personalities Network? Why are their mutual stances against Stephen A. Smith not just about personal beefs? Kwame gives his brutally honest takes on Kyrie Irving, Lil Nas X, LaVar Ball, Dave Chappelle, Boyce Watkins, Stephen Jackson, and Matt Barnes. No one should miss this very special “explosion of masculinity” on “Fearless.”

He is a bust of a #1 overall draft pick. He didn't live up to the expectations that come with being drafted that high. If he was drafted 20th nobody would say anything. He wasn't the 1st and won't be the last bust. Ryan Leaf, Jamarcus Russell, Johnny Manziel... The list goes on.

I’m 25 years old, my entire thought process of kwame brown has been what Stephen A has created on espn. I used to wonder how is someone on the Lakers “a bonafide scrub, that can’t play” like just pure logic would tell you he’s in the nba he must be something I mean damn. But once a narrative is created and emotional investment is behind it ppl like Stephen A will fight to the death to protect that narrative

I remember him back in the early early 2000s filling in for Jim Rome on the radio and even while in big media he never spouted the company line and did call out race baiting, bad behavior, hypocrisy in a reflective tone though when people could still think a little bit for themselves and not just jump on the propaganda and media uprising being created for the week to fit the divisive narrative.

Kwame Brown said stop teaching our children CRT and start teaching STEM and trades in our schools! I’ve been saying that for years. I work in technology for a tech company and Black people are highly under represented in tech. There’s a shortage of skilled trades men… HVAC techs, Electricians, Carpenters, Plumbers, and heavy machinery workers are in dire need! If the children truly are our future why are we not setting them up for success in life? It’s extremely disturbing!

Kwame is full of it. Kwame "fought back", because he had notthing to show for his life post an NBA career. He had no community project to show for, no small jobs, no community partnerships, nothing except he went back home with a little money, and lived hood fabulous. Not withstanding his drug possession arrest, which added on to his DUI conviction, added onto his interfering with police conviction.
It's real easy to shut down people who talk crap about your busted career when you can lay on the table how your busted career created opportunities to opened doors for your children, people within your inner circle, and those in your community.
Finally note: People in the sorts community have been very quiet about Kwame's stolen $17m from his financial advisor that as of yet been recovered. No matter how much he made during his career, he did not earn enough for $17m not to radically change his post NBA life. Which will lead those with at least some working brain cell to figure out all this "smoke" he's bringing is just an attempt to earn money off of UA-cam. It has nothing do with pride and redemption.

*BRAVO* 👏🏼 What an interview🔥 Thank you Jason Witlock. When I started following Kwame, I had no idea who he was--but defense of himself made me know who he was right now. Just hearing him speak with such heart-felt authenticity and a fierceness that was undeniably both raw and wholesome, I felt gripped, pulled away from wherever I was....and I haven't looked back. Kwame is excellent and I'm so happy it was showcased right here.

Don’t thank Jason Whitlock. He is just using Kwame because as of now Whitlock has absolutely no good will with any black athletes. He was, and always will be, the white man’s attack dog. If you notice he was trying to get Kwame to get political about the vaccine mandates. Because he is always about trying to appease the white man.
