Cedric is showing Clara how he truly feels, regardless of what his mom and Lady Lillian think. His heart has always been with Clara and he's willing to give up his title as Duke to be there for her. He even bought her a ring, wanting to propose to her. Things were going smoothly until that jerk Elvin shot him, making him lose his memories. Thankfully Elvin is being taken away for good. Hopefully he'll be able to regain his memories of him and Clara, then he'll confess his love for her in front of everyone and live happily ever after with her. Clara is finally coming to terms with her feelings for Cedric. Despite her role as a maid, she can't deny what her heart really wants. She wants to spend every minute with Cedric, even spending time with him in bed, but after hearing that he got shot, she's wanting to be there for him, despite what Lillian said to her. Hopefully she'll be able to stand up for herself more and be with Cedric after he regains his memories. I'm getting the feeling that Lillian made Elvin shoot Cedric just so she can have him for herself. The reason why is because she didn't even look upset at all after hearing that Cedric got shot and she's willing to make sure that he forgets about Clara after he regains his memories. I can't wait to see this gold-digger get caught red-handed and put away, permanently. I knew that Elvin was bad news. From when he was hitting on Clara at the party to now shooting Cedric all because of it. I mean, let that s*** go, dude!!!! If anything, you deserve to get what's coming to you. I'm glad that he got locked up and got his well-deserved karma and then some.

I don't know how well the translation is in my language, but I managed to understand that Clara's mother didn't want her to get involved with the duke in the first chapter at minute 18:20 I loved the chapter I'm so excited to see the next one 🙌🙌🙌❤️
Lady Lillian does not have a loving heart, and despises that Cedric would even look at Clara. But, now, with the incident he had, will he even remember Clara? I just know that the note that was kept separate from the gift will have something to do to jog his memory again. I hope so, and I do hope that he and Clara will end up together.
