      CareerVidz I got B for Question 8 and cannot understand why A Is the correct answer. As the further out you have the third arm it mean it’s going to put more weight back into the wall.
      Please explain this one so I don’t understand.
      Because if you put the weight on the further part of the ledge then it’ll just buckle...

    • @arealassassin
      @arealassassin 4 роки тому +1

      Which part of the cog? The rotational speed is the rpm of the shaft to which it is attached. Your question is not specific enough. The tooth tip will travel faster than a point close to the center of the cog. Are you asking for revolutions per minute, or speed of a point on the cog i.e; feet/sec, mph...?

    Question 5 isn’t fair because you don’t know the ratio of the sizes nor the weight so most logical guesses would be A. B would be the second guess but it’s impossible to be right without knowing the weights or ratio of weights. Also on question 10 when you word it with pull the mass object over with, my first instinct was C due to the fact I thought you meant horizontally. A is the obvious answer if you are trying to “tip” it over or rotate it. If you could edit this video and make it a bit clearer it would really help.

      By assuming x weighs more than z you continue.. three points, the assessment is monitoring the three different distances.
      A will be slightly tipped in favor of Z
      B will be balanced
      C will be tipped in favor of X
      In a monitoring assessment you need to be aware of the variable outcomes and apply the problem to them.

    • @joeking4038
      @joeking4038 3 роки тому +4

      Really?
      This assumes that X equals Z in weight. However, it was given that X weighs more. Thus, at distance B (where BOTH X & Z are equidistant wrt fulcrum) X will actually be favoured. Thus, cannot be C or B, so must be shorter distance A @@matthewabernathy7563

    • @kurtstaley9476
      @kurtstaley9476 2 роки тому

      I read it as such… position B is same distance as item Z is sitting from balancing point, while position A would be closer and position C further away. Since we know item X is heavier than item Z, item X needs to be closer to the balancing point to account for its heavier weight. How much closer is not important since we don’t know each items weight. Further away from the balancing point the heavier the item, think sea-saw.
