    I made this for my Mothers birthday last week and it was insanely delicious. Will definitely make again. Peanut butter lovers dream cake.

    I made this recipe and it turned out delicious. Weirdly the whole thing tasted better at room temperature, when I pulled it out of the fridge it wasn't nearly as good after sitting out for a while. My nieces also weren't a fan of the pieces of Reece's cups between each layer so I will probably leave that out next time. Overall it was delicious and looked good! I went with a more marble effect instead of chocolate drip.

    AMAZING CHOCOLATE CAKE!!!! Probably the best chocolate cake I have ever tasted! I did cut down on the sugar for the buttercream to only half the amount. Still a little too sweet but overall amazing cake 😋

    Beautiful. Thank you Going to try and make this with my granddaughter for her GPA’s Birthday tomorrow. U said u used the Wilton 789 tip. I have one but it’s jagged on one side and smooth on the other. How do u get the 789 to make sides smooth when coming out? I guess I will find tomorrow 😁

    Soooo yummy looking! Would this cake freeze well as is or should I freeze the layers ahead and just frost the day of? I really want to do this ahead bc I'm going to be painting my kitchen!

      I don't ever really freeze whole cakes, so I'm not sure. I generally recommend freezing layers and then frosting later.

    This looks great, and I really want to make it, but I'm a bit thrown off by the amount of frosting given considering the size of the cake. Do you use up all of it, or is there any left over?

      You can see in the video that I use a piping tip to add frosting to the sides of the cake and that uses quite a bit of frosting. So yes, I use pretty much all of it. You can reduce the amount if you don't think you will.

      Theres always an option to make it with whisk and spatula, it works just as the mixture.

      You can, the layers will just be thinner. You might want to do just two layers. You'll also need to adjust the baking time.

    I tried this. Epic fail. Followed recipe to a T and cake stuck, icing didn’t get the spreadable consistency and it fail. But in the bright side it tasted wonderful. And suggestion on what I need to do to make it work next time?

      I'm a beginner baker but one thing I found that helps is having all your ingredients the same temperature, such as the milk and eggs!

      I just made this cake and I agree that the icing was so sticky and not spreadable. It kept peeling off of my cake. I had to use my fingers to press it on. Icing tasted good tho.

      One way I skipped on eggs was using banana but it does give off the banana taste pretty strong but it tasted really good like s chocolate peanut utter banana

    Good video, the written recipe was lacking in some spots for clear instructions and I wouldn’t consider myself a beginner, but not a professional either. Overall good cake, but I would go for a simpler chocolate cake next time
