I am a Nigerian but I don't understand Igbo language, but one thing I can say about this song is that it HIGHLY ANOINTED. I have playing this song since 2010 and it's still very new to me

Besides all Igbo people and friends of Igbo descent alike come to the realization that God almighty has given Igbo people tremendous gifts especially in the area of lifting up the Name of God Almighty through praises to the glory of Jesus Christ. I grew up in Surulere and Igbo worship was an everyday lifestyle. Even if you don’t own the record, you will know part of the lyrics. This song was one of the many Igbo songs that I loved. I had to get someone to tell me who it was that sang it and I’m happy I found her. It’s no surprise an old gospel song without an elaborate video has over 1 million hits. Speaks volumes about how blessed she is.

Many years back when I was a spinster and living with my mom & younger ones, I would wake up with "Oge ruwo" by Sister Rosemary and would play it on my CD late in the night until I slept off. My mom used to wonder why I was so obsessed with her song & would ask me "Is it because you bear the same name?" I would smile then and continue with whatever I was doing. I grew up in Surulere and Igbo worship was an everyday lifestyle. Even if you don’t own the record, you will know part of the lyrics. This song was one of the many Igbo songs that I loved. Many years back when I was a spinster and living with my mom & younger ones, I would wake up with "Oge ruwo" by Sister Rosemary and would play it on my CD late in the night until I slept off. My mom used to wonder why I was so obsessed with her song & would ask me "Is it because you bear the same name?" I would smile then and continue with whatever I was doing. Today, when I look at what God has done in my life, I affirm to the belief that worshipping God paves the way for miracles and breakthroughs. God bless you Sister Rosemary Onumaegbu.
