The moment Patrick started to feel comfortable enough to reveal his true nature as he talked about his family relationship with his mom and dad was when he allowed Robin to get a sneak peak at the real Patrick Drake! His father knew it was there all along, which is why he arranged for them to have lunch together.

I always thought that was something he dealt with. , He didn’t have any past relationships to share with Robin, because he had never had that connection before Robin.
How could Sabrina not feel she couldn't measure up to Robin. Patrick was more self-confident than Sabrina ever was, yet Patrick was wonderful, Patrick loving Robin was wonderful, Patrick telling Sabrina he loves her was more than enough for her to think Robin was a non issue

This is where the writers played to the whole mighty $$$ than to a good s/l---the pairing of Brit and Patrick made sense since her father is Faison, but to make her totally bad just to have people root for him to be with Sabrina(whom they were paid big bucks for) to bring her on and give her a story with half of a super couple. They were able to get Anders Hove to reprise his role and he had history with Robin, Anna, Robert, Frisco, & Felicia. Since Faison was the one holding Robin captive because he wanted Anna, it would have made since that Brit was sent to keep Patrick occupied---since their plan was always to revive the NB (I do realize that during this period but Robin plays an HIV character and is synonymous with the NB she should have been there) that's when Frisco's return should have been to work with Anna and Robert to rescue Robin and bring her home to her family. Patrick was originally slated to leave with Robin when she returned. He should have been a part of thes/l by helping them to trap Britt. Instead the NB( which should have been about HIV and AIDS) was used as the coming out party for Sabrina by making Patrick start to go after Sabrina when he should have been on the red carpet with Anna and Emma to honor Robin. Then when TeCa got pregnant and she started maternity leave around the time of the NB the following year---they made the NB all about a preemy baby( which is synonymous with the March of Dimes not what the NB stands for It came out when she was first hired that they were paid off to hire TeCa (Sabrina) because she had been in Disney's new talent program and they had to give her a show and since she was too old to play a character on one of their shows GH was paid a hefty sum of money to create a role for her---she hasn't worked professionally as an actress on anything since leaving GH
