Wow, that was really challenging and you did really good. Thanks for the info on mile 355. There’s nothing more scary than a trail not there. Even with all that you went through, it really turned out great. Hike on!
That the Gobbler's Knob primitive campground you stayed at around the mid point, a bit southeast of Wrightwood? I car camped there prior to a Mt Baden-Powell attempt several years back.
How long did it take you to get ib shape for hiking, and have you seen many animals along your way.Thank you for the ride it had beautiful views of California
I know I'm watching you almost 2 months ago because today is June 30th 2023. I assume you're probably into Oregon... If you stayed on the trail. It's about 6:30 in the morning... Good job Tracy. Wow!
What a great trek! This is exactly what Oregon looks like right now around 5,000' elevation. South facing shoes are pretty clear with a few big drifts, but North facing skies and wooded area are covered and frosted with deep snow. Things will melt out quickly, but I'm expecting to still see North slope snow above 6,000' into mid-August since we got heavy snows over the winter and late snow in early May. It's good to see you hiking without physical limitations this time, you must be enjoying this.
Ok Condor, I know you too well to think you would actually drink that gross algae thick water but it was a good laugh.😊 I’m glad you got through that nasty part of the PCT but I’m not naive enough (nor are you) to think you won’t encounter more. I’m beyond happy you got a nice cozy place to stay for the night, so deserved after the hard terrain you’ve been going through. Because of your attitude this time around as I’ve said before the Trail Gods are with you. This is YOUR time. 🥰🙏🏻
You are doing so great out there! What a well deserved blessing to end that tough day. You are killing it 💪🏻❤👊❣️ If you mentioned it, I may have missed it… how’s the finger? I noticed it was still bandaged up. Sending prayers and positivity for quick healing!
2:15 “I am very literal.” I too am very literal & I prefer it to a fault some say. So, what is the ambient temperature when standing beside the giant snow hill?
Thanks for the great video.
It was so great to meet you. Happy trails to you 🧡
It was so awesome to meet you too! You are such an amazing person and trail angel 😇 Thank you for commenting. 🤗💕
Great that you were able to do the section that just reopened!!!
Perfect video. Looks like you've very comfortable on the trail. Love the "dirty water" humor. Hike On!
Challenging section of trail! Way to power through. You deserved that blessing at the end!🌻💛
Ok at 4:59 you got me! I was yelling "No" at my cell phone!!!! (Following you from Italy).

Soeben the coldest night on trail in 2917 at guffy campground.
Thanks for posting the date in the beginning. I wondered how far behind we are to where you actually are. Keep trekking as many have said here.
You almost had me in a panic watching you drink the green water out of the big.

I concur. Good job, Tracy!
