Be nice for sure to link up some equipment specs too. Hardware /cords/settings needed ?? Subscribed and liked. Maybe a new video with your magic setup😊 :)
What is the loud noise that sounds like a motor humming? Almost a squeal but it would drive me crazy if it was in my shack.Just get a ClearSpeech DSP Base Unit or external speaker & take away the noise.I do & they are AWESOME.
kc7igt Thats what i was thinking, just wasn't so sure if i could hook right to the IF, was told it was 3.18 Mhz and I would have to look else where for a hook up on it. I don't have the softrock as I didn't want to buy anything till i was sure. So the softrock has a tuner on it or do we do this in the software? Thanks
Alex, Thank you for your comment, unfortunately, when this video was created was long ago like 10 years ago and was not popular to talk like people do today to make money. Maybe on the future I can explain how I did connect radio to SDR receiver (ENSENBLE rx SOFTROCK) to FT-101e IF. THANKS KC7IGT
@@kc7igt o i see. I have a 101 e my self for 30 years. And I don’t have a get a good receive on it. I’m in the NYC area and i cent find anyone to look at it.

showing videos without anyone able to reproduce what you did has no value. show how you set it up please
more detais please!!!
Some of the radios without an IF needs a Buffer before you connect your SDR reciever.
Yes, by selecting the frecuency of the radio.
Did you use any type of up-converter or did you plug right into the IF port on the radio?
Plug the IF from FT-101e to softrock ensemble tune to radio IF, the softrock to computer.

Dropmaul99 Also when you transmit, how are you muting the speakers on the PC? Or are you getting any feedback from it or like a talkback? Thanks
I have the Yaesu FT-101E how you connect the SDR to the radio thanks
Take the IF from you radio to SDR.
Make sure you tune to radio IF frequency.
This would be a sweet upgrade for any radio. How hard is it to access the IF on most radios?
Does the freq shown on the hdsdr display change as the 101 is tuned ?
My question too
Did you couple the IF output of the yaesu to the sdr with any type of capacitor or resistor?
Non, directly to SOFTROCK ENSEMBLE.
What computer program is this?
HDSDR
Who ever posted this video. You need to talk of what your doing. Many people have no clue at all.
