OldDove5 Well they first planned Kenji to have more impact on the story but they changed that cuz of production costs and all that stuff. Originally he wasnt even in Bushido. Some of that remained in his lines it seems.

I mean originally we'd even be able to free roam in canyons, race 4 minor crews with bosses, more deeper story. Wish black box wasnt gone. I really want a Remake or a Carbon sequel but its impossible
Yeah. games like NFS payback currently are just not...nfs. its more simulation than arcade and that doesnt give me the true nfs feeling. though if blackbox gave carbon at least 1 year more in development it would have been a complete game and possibly the best NFS game in the franchise.
OldDove5 Well yearly schedule... They've ruined Undercover cuz of that as well. And also I agree new NFS is waay different. Handling is too messy. The serie is looking for a new identity but imo they have already nailed tone and gameplay in The Run except few weird things. They just needed to make an open world game with the same physics, toneand some previous nfs stuff. For example Payback had a great story concept with very generic uninteresting characters with no proper character development and evolution (except Jess maybe). Story was not long enough and had no actual impact on the game whatsoever. Gameplay was too simple. Races were press gas and just drift every corner you see without and precision driving.
So sad that development time for carbon was so short... This game had so many unreleased things in-game, not even talking about cut content, but still my favorite need for speed to this day.
Every time I hear this I think of the hot wheel series form when i was a kid and the Techu lol ,or shirtako dancing and saying 'yeah time to pump up the base line" :P brings back A LOT of memories.tnx for uploading
You also hear segments of it sometimes in Darius' race in the city, but this would really go well for a theme for Cross in carbon, bleeps from a monitor to check bounty profiles, and it just suits Cross in general. Heck, even just a Corvette in Dark Grey colors with REAL Aggressive lines of shape.

Carbon's soundtrack was above all other new-age NFS. Most Wanted had the best track selection but Carbon had the best composed tracks.
