I love how you are excited about your hair turning grey. It's so refreshing to hear someone young embracing what comes naturally. I love this routine. Thanks for sharing and KEEP GOING!!!
I have short hair and wet it in the shower daily. In the winter, I top my leave in w grease (blue magic castor oil). I had long natural hair most of my life, grease & water were staples from the start.
Luv luv luv ur grey hair. My few strands of grey hair is much thicker than the rest of my hair. I do have thick coarse wooly hair, but those grey hairs are much thicker. I luv my hair n excited to see how my grey hair will form.
I'm sitting here with twists in my hair. 😀 I used a shea butter cream, but sometimes I use hair grease too. You are right about the hard water. And don't worry about not deep conditioning every time you shampoo your hair because it's not something we have to do. Your hair is healthy, thick, and lovely! 🥰 I love the Suave clarifying shampoo; it's good stuff. Thanks for sharing the update! Very helpful! 🌻🌻🌻
I do not use grease due to product build up on my low porosity hair. I try to use as little products as possible. Mine can only absorb so much. It is just a waste of products. Your method is great for your hair.
I have hard water where I am now, really drying to the hair and my skin. I will try some clarifying shampoo. Wishing you well with this routine, I like grease and never really gave it up altogether.
I’m so glad you have been having success with grease! 💕 Yes when I added the chelating clarifying shampoo I immediately felt a softness to my hair as I was rinsing the lather out. The moisture in my hair was better and the hair stayed moisturized longer. 🤓
@kimthevenin8769 Wow, thank you so much for this tip, I'm entirely grateful. My water is so bad that I have to soak my shower heads in vinegar at least once every 2 or 3 months. I do have an outside filter on the main but it's still a problem.
Your hair is beautiful! 🥰 How often do you wash your hair using this method? I’m having to get reacquainted with hair grease and I’m trying to find the right intervals to washing. I want to stretch it to three weeks, but I’m not sure if that’s feasible. I used to stretch for weeks using Shea butter, but Shea butter is not an option for me anymore.
@@A_Wilson thank you 🥰. I’m going to be answering your questions and some others I have received from other viewers in my next video. I’m in the process of editing it 😁.

@@EAUWP yes! I used grease as a pre shampoo treatment in this video. I have ONLY had success using cheap water based conditioners as a pre shampoo treatment but thought I would give grease a try for this video. Buy bottle water, and use the water as the last hair raise. That's what I have to do.

Glad to hear that Mrs. Darcey. Let me know if you have other questions.
@@thatwildethunderchild392 I am debating on if growing out my gray hair is working for me. Did you big chop and grow out your hair?

Black soap makes it more easier for me to finger detangle as I shampoo
That’s great. Many years ago I would consistently use black soap to shampoo my scalp.
I have two in my eyelashes ❤
