A ssj transformation is not a result of rage, it response to a need. Neither does it by a desire. Only by a need can a sayian release the ssj power

@Shakster131 Bardock didn't know the kamehameha. And even if he did, that kinda thing is decided by the CPU wanting to do a beam struggle. More often than not they just try to dodge it.

Well, the power levels aren't proven, except for Bardocks and Broly's (who were both mentioned somewhere). King Vegeta's power level was only mentioned where I saw it being grouped with Bardock.

Bardock, around his death was about 10,000... Same as King Vegeta. It's said that it was amazing that Broly's power level was as strong as the King and Bardock. (As stated by the BT3 character reference)
