Yes because it's the wheel speed, if your wheel spins at 300kph it doesn't mean that you are moving at 300kph because of the physics

Isn't there a law that makes vehicle manufacturers to always show higher speed than actual speed?
@@mirzamunif yes. it is not allowed to show less speed. And Tyres Sizes arent 100% accurate, air pressure, tyre wear...so cars/bikes etc. show a bit more speed then gps.

@@Krishnendu792 is a yamaha r1 a supersport bike? i was on one as passenger last year, on autobahn, and that thing almost ripped my arms off when he changed the gear and started accelerating again. without that grip on the fuel tank i would be ground meat probably.

Recommendation for next motorbike videos....
Get rid of the speedo camera, since it doesn't allow the rider to tuck in properly, i'm pretty sure otherwise it would have topped out over 300kph gps....
So helmet cam + gps speed is all the info we'll need 😉

It's interesting that it was still accelarating after getting pinned at 299 kph on the dash. I wonder if it can reach 300 that would technically make it illegal since no vehicle can display less speed than the actual speed of it.
It’s due to the gentleman’s agreement to not make (or at least show) motorcycles that exceed 186mph. Many 1000cc super bikes exceed this speed but they all stop reading at 186mph/299kph.
a unrestricted s1000 rr will go 320 km/h
