I'm an audio professional, a couple of plugins and a proper studio setup (just placements, not even fancy equipment, you have everything already) will fix you for good, you'll open a preset and you're done. I have Masters degree in nursing and this whole chemistry thing is WAY BEYOND MY DESIRE TO UNDERSTAND. What I DO know is that it is great for almost everything. I’m using it as a 70 year old who works out 4 days a week. I’m becoming less able to recover as I once did. Giving my mitochondria a blue bath. I use 10mg per day and will increase to 20 mg if things go ok. Low and slow.

    Let's talk about the dosage here for the study and for our own logic for ingestion:
    8mg to 250 mg dose is still based off of your weight and adjusted by the purity of the solution.
    So a 1% MB solution is super low and that's all "we common people" can get a hold of (seems strong enough for me).
    Let's say you are 150lbs and you are going to take the MAX dose (250mg) that would be 17,010mg per day assuming that the solution was 100% solution right? Which it is not for us.
    So if you are 150 lbs and taking a 250mg dose a day you would take 340 drops (0.02 drops in 1mg) per day
    Since we can only buy 1% solutions should we account for that and multiply the dose by the dilution factor... this is 340 drops x 99.9 which is insanely high dose (it seems) and was that intravenously given? if not that would for sure make someone's stomach hurt and seems unreasonable. Possibly the dosage assumes a 1% solution and in that case 340 drops a day for a max dose sounds only slightly more reasonable but to me still seems extremely high. I would for sure assume side effects at that high of a dose.
    Seeing that the studies did an extremely high dose I wonder what a lower dose solution would be like? Also it seems strange to mention a study that combined Meth Blue with poison and found that there were side effects... Why would you reference that and still find something negative about MB? MB negated the poison and that was all the study was designed to find out... deducing that there are negative side effects of MB AFTER IT NEGATED POISON is a strange conclusion and I can only suspect designed by BIG PHARMA to try to make MB look bad.

My mom developed Alzheimer’s she 64 and it is strong in her family. I’m 62 and obviously concerned. So for about a year and a half I’ve been taking 8 mg a day. Hey Dr. Masterjohn sorry to change the subject but I came accross a form of B6 while studying it called pyridoxamine~, I see that it was banned some time ago by the FDA but I can't find much solid information about it anywhere, and didn't find much info even here on youtube, was wondering if you had any material on it or could make some.

    • @paulsansonetti7410
      @paulsansonetti7410 Рік тому

      FDA Regulatory Activity
      Pyridoxamine was marketed as a dietary supplement, often as the hydrochloride salt, pyridoxamine dihydrochloride. However, in the United States, the FDA ruled in January 2009 that pyridoxamine must be regulated as a pharmaceutical drug because it is the active ingredient in Pyridorin, a drug designed by Biostratum, Inc., to prevent the progression of diabetic nephropathy.
      Pyridorin had success in early clinical trials, found to be effective in slowing the progression of diabetic neuropathy in a phase II trial on 224 patients. However, in 2005 Biostratum ran out of money and so was unable to begin a Phase III trial. Investors in Biostratum had realized that because Biostratum had no patent on pyridoxamine itself, and that pyridoxamine was commonly available for purchase as a dietary supplement, the company would be unable to charge enough money for the treatment (should it be approved as a prescription drug by the FDA) for the investors to get a reasonable return on the investment they had already made (about $100M) much less on the additional investment a Phase III trial would require. To solve this problem, Biostratum submitted a citizen petition to the FDA on July 29, 2005, seeking to disallow sales of pyridoxamine-containing supplements on the grounds that pyridoxamine, as the subject of an Investigational New Drug Application with the FDA, is a drug and not a dietary supplement. This petition was opposed by the Council for Responsible Nutrition, a trade association of the dietary supplement industry.
      On January 12, 2009, the FDA ruled that products containing pyridoxamine are excluded from the definition of dietary supplements as defined by the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994. The FDA stated that the status of Pyridorin as an investigational new drug, as a result of an application filed by BioStratum in July 1999 and effective on September 1, 1999, meant that "the marketing of pyridoxamine in a dietary supplement is essentially equivalent to the marketing of an investigational new drug as a dietary supplement" because there was an "absence of independent, verifiable evidence that the substance was marketed as a food or a dietary supplement prior to its authorization for investigation as a new drug

    With out going into to much detail, it seems that MB could be the cause for sudden increase in veins bulging in my legs and hands. I am genetically predisposed for Hereditary Thrombophilia and I'm concerned that this pulled the trigger. I Had bulging veins in my legs prior to taking but now it very prevalent, and my hands are also experiencing the same. This started after stopping MB for two weeks . (I did not experience this while taking it for obvious reasons) I do take other supplements and started them after this two week period, during this time I also took 10mg of cialis at the beginning and end of the first week and noticed itching and vein swelling on my hands... yes I know it is a NO2 booster but NEVER experienced this... that's new. I Let the cialis wear off and wanted to start back on MB to see if the issue would stop (1 drop) but made my veins very itchy. I don't know if it is the MB, so talking with my physician today to get blood work done. *side note: I'm not sure if MB is the cause or the supplements that I was taking for blood flow, but considering all the benefits i had taking MB, It's hard to believe that it would worsen my DVT. Your thought would be appreciated.

      I have no concrete evidence for this but i am fairly sure methylene blue in some way blocks Thiamine transport in neurons via inhibiting ThTr-2. It's not enough to create significant blocks in energy production as thiamine is transported by another protein as well.
      Since thiamine clears excess serotonin from the brain I think methylene blue's action as a MAO inhibitor is perhaps somehow tied into that as well. But I highly doubr mb outright depletes thiamine.

    I’m a 59-yo male, and 140 pounds. I do 130 degree infra red sauna for 15-min, then cold plunge for 10-min at 54 degrees, then take 2mg methylene blue, under tongue for 15-min, and wear a 660Nm (red light) bracelet for 2-hours (+). Every day. I have the energy of a 30-year old!

    This did not change my mind because I have no idea what you’re talking about and like a previous person commented, explain it to me like I’m in 5th grade. I teach music and I don’t beat people over the head with theory every time I speak otherwise I’d lose students. I think you may lose me as a viewer and you came highly recommended. I think you need to do another video - short, simple explanations, pros and cons, done.
