I found this very well rounded and helpful. I am a South African and I was about to sign up for Robinhood because I would like to start investing, but I didn't know it was only available for the US. I would like to know about other good brokers that are available for someone like me, a beginner to use. I did research but it is still hard to pick one. Hi Bob! I'm using both Webull and Robinhood. I use Webull because their charts are more sophisticated. AND I can draw on them. I use Robinhood because they allow me to buy or sell options, where Webull does not. I have a question. I inadvertently moved some crypto to Apex Crypto. Can you do a video on Apex and how I can retrieve my crypto or at least monitor what Apex is holding?
I loved RB but ultimately I went with WB because I love the charts and being able to see the position on the chart. I know ppl love hating on RH, but their system is so easy and pleasurable to use and their options chain is amazing. WB is great for multileg options, but the software sketches out on me a lot. Also, RH will convert your account to margin right away. WB you have to suspend your account for 6 days while they give you margin. Also RH is much better with instant buying power.
I use both honestly…1) it raises my day trades per week from 3-6, 2) trading hours are way better on Webull but Robinhood processes deposits and withdrawals much faster and gives me instant buying power for crypto

Robinhood doesn't allow you to buy after hours, but, what it does allow you to do, is deposit $, and buy shares or set shares to sell, which get traded at market open automatically. I still refuse to put much $ in either, like likely not over $1000. For my dividend stocks I use Sofi and Fidelity, and for fun Sofi robo advisor.

Friends...I recently learned that Webull is a "Communist" Chinese owned brokerage company operating out of New York and Dallas Tx. I'm concerned because many are unaware that it is "Chinese" owned and there are risks to accounts/funds if things go south between our countries. A lot of UA-camrs are getting paid by Webull to promote their LLC. FYI only...
The cash in your account is insured by the FDIC and Webull only acts as a broker. Regardless of how many stocks you buy through Webull, they all belong to you. The monthly statements sent through email show what you own. Assuming that you have a cash account, Webull doesn't own the shares that you purchase, as it's just a platform that streamlines purchases. For them to own shares purchased with your money, they would violate multiple FINRA regulations. This is not the case.
@@Sel-Shackfield It might be because of the income level and net worth you put. Because its high risk they take it all into account, not just experience.
Thank you for this video ...I use Robinhood and I was wondering something ...does Webull make it easy to determine how much you have invested overall? I find myself wanting to know how much cash have I put into my portfolio as a whole but Robinhood does not make that easy. Also, something I might have missed using Robinhood, but does either app offer a way to know overall diversity (bird's eye view) within the portfolio? Thank you for the video, great job.
GREAT questions! Here are some answers: 1. Yes Webull does make it a bit easier. When you go to your main screen under "Assets" you'll see your Total Account Value. Right under there (using the app) you'll see "Open P&L". This is your total Profit and Loss from your invested amount. Let's say your P&L says +264.82. This means you gained $264.82 from your investment activity. Take that amount out of your Total Account Value to get a glimpse on your total amount invested with your hard earned money. 2. I would say Webull probably does better with this second question too. If you go to Your main screen again in the Webull app under "Assets", then click on "Detail". This is a small button located to the right of your Total Account Value. Within there you can see your asset allocation. It's not the best in all honesty as it doesn't break down exact diversification but it is better than Webull.
