- This was from a Spanish Television broadcast in Spain. He sang for Caballe and she cried saying she thought she would never hear a baritone like this again; It was like those she sang with in the past. He was still developing, but huge potential.
I wonder why Verdi baritones aren't as common as they used to be it seems. Lyric baritones seem to be taking up all of the Verdi baritone roles these days.
Loss of proper training and technique.
Another one who doesn't have a name... Very strange... Are they really your students ? Very weird...
I don't reveal all student's names for their own privacy and protection. There are a lot of scammers and trolls out there and they should have to deal with hacks. Everything I post is mine. It is absurd to think otherwise.
@@SilverSingingMethod Of course everybody knows that good opera singers want to stay anonymous !
@@hervev.1841 When they are learning and up and coming and there are hackers and spammers out there you bet they need to be protected.
Very impressive!!!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Wow! Is he still singing today?
what's the name of this wonderful singer?
so refreshing to hear good voices 👍
Thanks for sharing
Hey Mr. Silva. What do you think about Caballe masterclasses? she is talking about lifting the air before the sound, my teacher is saying the same. But you are talking about realising the air. I am a bit confused. Thank you!
There is no such thing as lifting air. Maybe the term she used was confused. We can hold the throat open and release the air freely. Maybe because it goes from the muscles being low to then out the lungs and "up" the windpipe she thought it meant lift. I don't know. I just know how the breathing works in accurate scientific terms.
Wow, my jaw dropped. Bravo maestro
what's his name?
Is there a video somewhere online?

Not that I know of

Meraviglioso, Straordinario, This is opera! Thanks for sharing.👏👏👏
Thank you. Yes, but This Is Opera Channel the original one was started by my students who just quoted everything I said and made videos.
What aria is this?
How old is he?
Great stuff! The only thing that got to me was the "a little too fast" vibrato.
There is the margin what to consider correct vibrato, this one enters perfectly.
