I believe that I speak for everyone rooting for you and the success of your business, We are all extremely proud of you Luke. Watching you grow over the past couple of years have been an honor and pleasure. Thank you for the laughs, tears, ups and downs. It's been a interesting wild tide so far. Looking forward to seeing what is to come over the next few years ahead. Much love and respect always my amazing brother 🤜🤛🔥💯
defo feel part of the journey too, we watch from England, UK & we love watching Lukes content. It's nice to be able to see how real people live, big loves
seconded!! one thing i have noticed.. and it is probably one of the reasons your channel is as good as it is! YOU NEVER! STOP TALKING/NARRITING!!!! that keeps us viewers engaged and interested in what you are doing! do not stop! it works! all the best for you and your crew and friends in the new year!!! 👍👍 and here is a goat.... 😁😁 just because, it's a goat----->🐐
As retired Scottish fisherman I see my own struggle starting crab fishing 40 years ago. I fished velvet crab in the Western Isles. I started with an old 15 foot punt and finished fishing with a 57 footer. Keep going you man 😉😁😁😁
It's easy to forget you're a grown man who has had the same ups and downs as the rest of us working men. You have a great attitude, and I see nothing but more success in your future. I'm looking forward to see how you turn the Desperado into your true dream work boat.
59:58 I build Motors all the time and I have a Toyota Tundra and you started it and it did not sound like a blown motor it sounded like a bad timing chain. And if your timing chain is going bad it would make your water pump go bad and that would make a backflow in your radiator because it would spend stop and the pressure would keep pushing it. But when you started it and it's first started up and idled down it did not sound like it was blown it just sounded like the timing chain was just going crazy in the timing cover. It is a big job but a lot cheaper than a new motor, maybe $600 or 700. But if you do do that job do not buy aftermarket parts Toyota Tundras and other Toyota cars like Camrys do not like aftermarket parts they do not work with the Tundras in the Camry I have I have done all the experiments that you need to know not to do that I have learned the hard way that certain Vehicles do not like aftermarket parts. So save your heart and soul I'm not having to do it for f****** times and by the dealership parts. If you can't afford them contact me I can get them wholesale from the dealership I have a connection because I buy so many dealership parts that the dealership I go to has made it where I don't have to pay full price for them because I buy all my parts from them if its internal I buy the part that's designed for that truck not that one that was designed around the truck like aftermarket. I have a lifted Tundra buying aftermarket front CV axles they do not have the same pitch as the factory ones do and when I built my truck I went through 17 different axles 17 I was breaking them one on each side every month where they were in pieces. So I went to the dealership and I talked to them and to come find out the way they build theirs no other company can have the patent so I bought them have never had another problem since. Did the same thing with my water pump replace my water pump three times until I want to the dealership bought theirs never had another problem. It does cost more but you don't have to worry about the parts breaking or not being right❤ just trying to save you heartache pain and suffering because I have been there. When you own a lifted truck breaking crap is a thing it happens every damn day and then when you become a truck that you show it gets even harder I have no sponsors I wish I did but if I did I would have to do what they said not what I want. So I get the struggle.
I'm allergic to seafood, I have no earthly reason or desire to ever set foot on a boat. Yet I love this guy's content. What a good guy, I wish him, his family, and friends the best life has to offer. Best regards from Indiana.
Every time I get a bit disgruntle about the youth of our society now days, I see your videos and it knocks me out of it. The motivation and drive I see in you just makes it all go away. More so when I see you make the things needed out of old scrap rather than just running out and buying it. Keep up the good work.
I wish I could be doing what he is doing. I'm 23 and stuck in my moms basement sadly. I wish I could be so productive like him, I know I can and I want to be so bad but the anxiety and the hardships are killing me and preventing me to do things I want in life.

I've watched you and your wife with the help of your family work really hard to get where you are in life. I look forward to another year of your videos of your hard work.
Like your show and especially your attitude to life. Personally, I would prefer one thirty-minute weekly episode than one one-hour biweekly episode. Thanks for providing unique contents.
Love the videos! I totally appreciate the handy man mentality. That's how you achieve your goals and greatness in your business of crabing. God's going to bless you for being an honest and very hard worker. God bless you and your wife and family, Luke!
Always good to see some good old fashioned ingenuity and reuse. It’s not what you’ll have to do forever *hopefully*, but it’s the way a lot of us get started! A little bit of tool organization might help speed things up too😉ask me how I know. Happy Holidays y’all

I cannot believe i just spent an hour watching your video. Felt like a few minutes. Thank you for sharing your world. That footage of you finding the Desperado vandalized always hurt my little black heart. You can hear the sadness and disappointment, and I'm sorry you had to deal with all that, brother.
As a plumber of 25 plus years I approve and appreciate all the work you do. Is it really a bad idea, if it works??? Get after 2025 Luke!!! We are all rooting for you.

OMG DUDE IM SO STOKED ABOUT THE SOUP AND EGGROLLS!!!!! I really hope you have a hybrid soup of red MD crab soup mixed with Cream of Crab, that’s on my wishlist of stuff from you, I bought a 4 pack of Mama McFadden’s crab cakes, your seafood seasoning and a Dark Sea’s “You A’int No Crabber” shirt on Black Friday, I’m saving the crab cakes for Valentines Day for my husband and I’s first Valentine’s Day married 🖤🦀🖤🦀🖤🦀

That's how points are, especially on boat motors! You clean them and file them, they look good and may even get spark and run intermittently. Chase your tail for a few hours before running out of ideas, file the points even more and suddenly it works great.
I respect that you have never said a bad word about the people who vandalised your boat because if it was me damn I'd say things so bad they would want to strike again
i mean speaking about the Webo and how you used it to go camping, if it for some reason doesn't sell, maybe like how the southern girl went from a house boat to a crab fishing boat, maybe it'd be an interesting idea to take the webo and take it from a work boat to a house boat. like build up a cabin on it with a door and windows, a proper bedroom space, kitchen, that kinda stuff.
Thanks Luke merry Christmas to you and your family ❤ long time watcher from Australia. Wish we had that crab seasoning over here 🦀keep up the good fight mate. 👍🦀🦀👍
Very cool Luke! Love seeing all the background. Regarding your Grumman Hydrofoil, they "build a couple of prototypes and no more" when they did not win a contract.

Luke you should outfit the top of the Dora Lynn with solar panels and use a portable power station to ween yourself off of the neighbors power. I am sure you cold get Jackery to sponsor you as they seem to be involved with many other creators channels.
Luke, I ain’t no crabber (kinda hard to in Oklahoma) but I was wounding if you could set up a back up water heater by taking the heat wrap off the exhaust wrap copper line around the exhaust re heat wrap it use a water pump and pump water through it to where it recirculates the water through the heating core.
Hey Luke watching from Huntington Beach ,California keep up the great video content vary Entertaining to watch and it's just your daily routine. In the life of a craber..
Love your videos! Have you checked out a refer truck trailer in any of the auctions? They are supper insulated with the refer unit still on the front of the trailer. Generally the refer units still work. Got a friend who started a deer processing business with one.
In high school I spent a lot of weekends hanging out at John's Dad's underground house. His dad was always bringing something home from an auction so It's no surprise that John's workshop is full of auction finds.
Use code LUKE for 50% off your first order of Sundays: sundaysfordogs.com/luke
Have you ever thought about turning the front of the crab stand into the refrigerator for your crabs
Motiv8 Labs is working on a houseboat he might need some advice about adding bow thrusters to it.
I'll take all your 10mm if you got'um!!!
Does your seasoning have a lot of salt in it? I’m on sodium restrictions!
How do I find the prices? Two Dane household here! Not sure if I am missing something or doing something wrong. Great channel Luke!

I love Luke's content. Crazy how he can achieve so much and be so resourceful. Yet you look at Bad Company Fishing, who's dropping billions on fishing, with a near Navy fleet to hunt 1,000lb Marlins. Either one, I only dream of

Great video. Thank you for taking us along
Awesome video. You should do a video showing what happened over the course of the season each year.
Thanks!
i mean speaking about the Webo and how you used it to go camping, if it for some reason doesn't sell, maybe like how the southern girl went from a house boat to a crab fishing boat, maybe it'd be an interesting idea to take the webo and take it from a work boat to a house boat. like build up a cabin on it with a door and windows, a proper bedroom space, kitchen, that kinda stuff.
Loved the video. Thanks for sharing. Best of everything to you and yours. Be safe. Stay well. Victor
