The rules only apply in Ashgabat. Outside of that people are nomads going around the country with their sheep, free to do whatever since there aren't any policemen around anyways
We had a foreign exchange student volunteering at our hospital several years ago that was from Turkmenistan. God love him, every time he was introduced to anybody new, the first words out of his mouth was that he promised he wasn't there to hurt them. He had been taught to say that in his own country before he came to America. Nothing we could say convinced him that we did not think that he was trying to hurt us. 🤷♀️
If Turkmenistan has a dictatorship but is not acting like north Korea or 1940s Germany then all we need to know is that the rules may be weird but hey everything is in a white coating and is Muslim. 😀
Im from Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan has so many good sides like they got cheapest cars even they don't have any brand, their gas oil and so many things are free, they got better currency less population (around 5mln) But i think they follow dictatorship government and has so many things banned
“When I watched your shorts, I expected to see a channel with over a million subscribers. I was surprised to see that you have 118k subs. I don’t know much about you or where you’re from, but I believe your channel deserves to reach a million subscribers by the end of 2024. Keep up the great work!”
Well that turkish cuisine came from the Turkmenistan region, it would migrate westward into Turkey. Then the basic history of country is they were aborsed into the Russian Empire, later the Soviet Union, and eventually would establish independence in the 90s. Not to mention the majority of the Soviet block was in Aisia, along with a sizable muslim presence.
Oh, it is so nice to be so young like you and not being able to remember what happened there 20-30 years ago. Niyazov, the so called Turkmenbashi, he wrote his own holy book there.
Oddly enough it was pretty busy , cars and people, in the evening although daytime it was virtually empty of both . I was there for 4:days , probably long enough, but I found it fascinating ,and would definitely recommend a visit .
As a Turk;Başgün means the first day of the week/the head day.Which isnt much of a trouble if you ask me;it is very much a fitting name for Monday. And i dont think someones name would be Başgün💀 Love from Turkey to our borthers and sisters in Turkmenistan 🇹🇷💗🇹🇲
my mother in law works at Ashgabat International School. she says that the entire country has a different feel to it. now she has worked at a lot of different schools in countries such as Qatar, Korea etc. but Turkmenistan is so far the best.
Is Turkmenistan a dictatorship? Is it a bad country? Are people treated poorly? Can you ask your mother in law these questions please or answer if you know
This country has a lot of potential and is interesting because it is a fusion of different cultures but too bad they are like North Korea. I appreciate the presence of gold in their structures and architecture tho
Youd be surprised... Alot of counteies have this potential due to being a cultural amalgamation... The Philippiens traditional architecture is actually a mixture of both European and Asian architecture, sadly they appreciate little of it...
Well, Turkmen people Turkic and they put the word Turk in Turkey now know as Turkeya, when they immigrant form Turkmenistan, they conquer Persia then when for Turkey, the first Turkic people were form Altai in Siberia
Thier people are not as complicated as he makes it sound like. They are Turkish descent, They are Muslim, just like most of turks, They have Turkish food, aka their food, They are in Asia, just like most of Turk's, But, they speak Russian since they were a part of Russian empire and soviet union for soo long.
My wife is a culturally Israeli-Russian Jewish woman, born in Soviet-era Turkmenistan. Though Russian is spoken due to its Soviet history, the main language is now Turkmeni, related to Turkish. Greetings from Israel.
You do realise that Asians can be Muslim right?? Geographically speaking, part of the Middle East (specifically the Levant region - Lebanon, Syria and Turkey etc.) fall within Asia. South and Central Asian Muslims (From Pakistan, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan etc.) also exist. Oh, and so do South East Asian Muslims from Indonesia and Malaysia.
It's empty because nobody wants to follow these rules 😂
The rules only apply in Ashgabat. Outside of that people are nomads going around the country with their sheep, free to do whatever since there aren't any policemen around anyways
When dictators get drunk.
Infact that video games are banned in turkmenistan capital city make its more sense i guess....

Turkish food has a massive amount of influences, it’s essentially the surviving descendant of Ottoman cuisine which spanned a huge amount or cultures
I mean it's literally TURKmenistan.
Thanks you for clearing that up
it's a little irritating when ppl believe turkey came before the turkic ppl
