It's clear to explain by you, thanks.
What is tick ?😫
Am actually kind of amazed people are still watching it after five years 😂 but I realized people are still learning this all over years
yes. its good they learn this before the learn about technologies like speed camera and etc
I'm here because I have an exam on this topic next Friday, and I think it really gives me a lot of help after watching your videos. Thanks a lot.
Now I am ready for the practical. Thank you so so much for the lovely explanation!

Life saver this is due tomorrow
thank you so much! imma take my first physics test next week, this helps much :))
good luck x dragyula
Thank you for the explanation! I have my exam tomorrow and I was super confused about this topic, but not anymore. Thank you so much!
thank you so much mr mun! this video helped me understand the calculations much easier :) my major physics exam is coming in a day, and your instructions are very informative and easy to digest
good luck in your exam Jaclyn Choo :)
@@mrsaimun thank you! it went great
@@jaclynchoo8000what did u get
You can subtract 2 from the total dots I.e total dots=7
Ticks=7-2=5
When this is more well explained than google and my science teacher..Glad that I did not waste 10 minutes of my life watching rubbish clickbaits
Hello Sir,
Thank you very much for this video. It was very informative. If you don't mind answering, I have a question regarding the direction and its effect on the final answer. Since the direction the object is moving in the example is left (therefore decelerating), why is the answer 500 cm/s/s rather than -500 cm/s/s?
Pls ask, we will try to answer
To be exact the answers can be written as
1. Acceleration = - 500
OR
2. Deceleration = 500
@@mrsaimun Thank you very much! This clarifies things now for me :)
i will take my physics exam in a few hours, you helped me a lot thank you
Could you briefly explain why we use the middle of the AB & CD points? Is it because it's more trustworthy, because it has to be average at CD? But why does it has to be average at CD? Thanks in advance.
I have a question and I would really appreciate it if you could answer,
What would the investigative question be?
What would the hypotenuse be?
Can someone please help me out!!
amazingvideo wel explained andj instructed
Thanks for your comment. Pls watch n like the other videos.
omw thank you so much. I finally understand such a simple concept xD
OMG!! Thanks Sir!!
Corrected many doubts.👍👍
At 7:45 you say that the time starts at the mid-point between the two dots - could you explain why?
its just to show you that how you count the time. you count from the middle of the dots to another middle of the dots next to it.
@@mrsaimun I see, but when you calculate speed you count the total number of ticks to determine the time. But when you calculate acceleration, it is half-way between the time for intial and final velocity? I just wondered why it is different.
@@MSJChem I was wondering the exact same thing
@@MSJChem When taking the initial and final velocity he used to take the average velocity..That’s why he took the time fron the middle of two ticks..Usually when taking average velocity its taken by (v+u)/2..But we can take a good value by u = S/t..
thank you, love your videos!
Soo helpfully, thanks bro
Is it also okay to take 3 ticks for Vi and 3 ticks for Vf?
yes you can. if you take 3 ticks it will be 0.02 x 3 = 0.06 s
@@mrsaimun thank you
well illustrated thankyou
Thankyou so much
Hi I have a question, when finding the time for the accelerated ticks, why did you start and end on the midpoints?
We are actually counting the number of ticks. As each tick is 0.02s. One tick is the space between 2 dots
Thz a lot sir
Can we calculate the average speed of this pls tell
Average speed just take the total length divided by the total time
@@mrsaimun Thanku
ohh this is soo gud.. i understood it very well..
found my new way of learning physics...youtube...
Thank you so much!!! Very helpful
Thank you so much♨
U r most welcome
thank you for the clear explanation
too good explanation
im dutch and i understood u verry well. thank u for this :3
why velocity between C and D or A and B is average velocity ?
Very understandable , keep it up!
thanks, pls subscribe and intro to your friends.
mr sai mun definately will thankyou.
thanks. pls subscribe and introduce to your friends.
if f is a numerical equivalent to no. of ticks per s, 50dots per sec means its frequency is 49Hz?
you can say that.
Instructed very well.
glad it helps. all the best Gabriel Codina
thank youu
Thx bro!
Sir, the answer of division 10/0.25 will not be 50! you may correct it.
it is not 0.25, it is 0.2 s (second)
thank u for the clear explanation 😁
For the acceleration, why do you begin measuring the time in the middle of the tick? I was unclear as to why this is done.
Tick is the space between 2 dots. That is why when we count 'ticks' we point in the middle between 2 dots.
It's because we have average velocity. Average velocity is given with the formula: v(av)=v+u/2.
thank u vewy much mr sai mun
well presented
How comes in the second question, the final velocity is from C-D and the initial velocity is from A-B yet the direction motion is to the left side?
thxx 😀😀😀😀
❤️
JESUS LOVES YALL HE SAVES HE IS KING HE IS COMING BACK SOON REPENT RUN TO HIM HE LOVES YALL
did you mean to put m/s^-2? because you put cm/s^-1 for the solution lol
I love u
Love you too.
thank you
u r most welcome.
Is the frequency always 50 Hz?
it depends on the question, but most of the time in exams is 50Hz
no
Thanks a lot mr.sai mun :)
You're welcome 😊
this is good
HI
hi hi
Thanks 😊
Beh Shin Deh.....
听声音就觉得很熟了😂
hi in school my teacher taught us that 50Hz means in punches 50 times, but here u said 50 ticks. I assume my teacher was wrong right?
Yes, 50hz is 1 second 50 punches. But we still calculate the time as T = 1 / f = 1 / 50 = 0.02s
is this a sec 3 thing?
Thank you 👍
Playing it at 1.5x will save your life
lmao so true
Im writing today😭😭

oh yeah
Damn Science is hard
Correction ... You don't use v for velocity but for speed ... v= the average speed
V stands for velocity in most cases. He's not wrong.
No..We could also use v for velocity in many cases..
