I have an old dog who is failing and reading about your savannah helps me. My old girl is still eating and I think happy. I want to keep her happy at home for as long as possible.

My nine month old puppy is currently recovering from a gastroenteritis attack, and there were two things that made us realize she needed to go to the vet: 1.) she suddenly lost her ability to walk straight and started staggering around like a drunk. 2.) she started eating her kibble like she was starving to death and had never been fed a proper meal in her life. She only rarely bothers to eat kibble, and even then only a delicate amount. Suddenly wolfing down kibble was weird AF.
we took her to the vet right away, and she’s recovering really well.

I just dropped 1500$ on my 10 month old puppy, found out he has congenital kidney disease 😢. When you decide to get a pet you must know that there will be a life long commitment to care for them, that includes medical care when they get sick. If you don’t have the means to pay for sometimes expensive vet bills you should avoid getting one. I don’t say this to be mean, I know people love animals but maybe wait to get one until you can afford the sometimes huge expenses . ❤️

I didn't ask for my baby but I took her in when my grandma passed away and she's the only thing that helped me cope with her loss. Last year she was sick from parvo but I'll be damned if I was going to let that take her from me. We barely had enough money for that as it is since we had to pay for the funeral, but still not everyone has the money for all that stuff and not everyone is thinking about getting a dog when they get one, but you can't blame people for getting attached and not giving them up to a family who has that privilege of paying for whatever bill is tossed their way.

We have a German shepherd puppy who's about three and a half months old and he has coccidia.He isn't dehydrated and he's really active.he should get better soon.He takes medication daily and has a special diet of boiled chicken and white rice.We can tell he is getting better by the day.We think that he is also allergic to the dog food we give him.
I give my puppy raw chicken breast and also do you cook the white rice?
My 6 week old puppies have been throwing up for a while now, they are still alert and eating, gave them a mixture of babydog formula, wet food and their normal feed and they ate it and are nursing now

Cici Avrett everyone is doing great! Had to feed them with a syringe just to keep them nice and chubby. They moved away 2 months ago and are loving their new homes 👍🏻

We need to bring back those prices back because $350 just to see the dog for a dog visit is way too much money. We just got a 5 week old puppy and she got dewormed last week, ever since she’s been having extremely watery diarrhea and stopped eating a little, we have been using a syringe to kinda force her to eat... she’s also not gaining weight but she doesn’t have parvo

My dog ate like 500g of "Allen's lollies" there is no xylotyl in the ingredients and he threw them up about 3 times. It's 2am on new years day and I live in the country. No vets open for me, about a 4 hour drive to a 24/7 city vet.
He is 14 weeks but super playful after he vomited, he's acting like his normal self. Should I be worried? Also, you're probably going to see this days later. So I guess I'll update on it when I go to the vet in the morning.

Carmelo Rosado yup, I just took my eleven week bullmastiff to the vet for similar symptoms (lethargic, blood in diahrea) and they ran the same tests, it was near three hundred dollars. It still may cost more depending on whether he has worms or not. Lesson here is too make sure you purchase your pup from a reliable breeder.
Don't get a dog if you can't take care of it.

@@BiruKoritozu i think he has a parvo my dog now has a parvo it does eat and she is super weak all day sleep so we go her to the vet and yah he is positive on parvo. And i wish my lil puppy will get soon❤️

My puppy isnt showing any weakness. She is actually playful when she wakes up and she wags her tail actively when called. She is now eating!thank goodness😭
But we will do a visit at vet to mke sure she is fine. I was thinking of prvo as well. But seeing she is not lethargic, just sleepy i guess, i wasnt sure if shes really sick.
Maybe shes just gettig used to her new environment because i just got her the other day. Shes still adjusting maybe thats why she wasnt eating much and is very picky of food.

lee watty she is probably a teething puppy, and teething puppies like to chew on everything, including fingers. I let my puppy chew on my fingers and it’s completely fine
