  • This is my second time ever installing box braids with synthetic hair!
❤Before installing the hair I washed my hair and did a protein treatment with Giovanni's Nutrafix hair reconstructor-❤
❤I DID NOT blow my hair out- Instead I prepped my wet hair in jumbo braids❤
❤The next day once my hair was dry I did two strand twists using Shea Moisture Deep Treatment masque-❤
❤In total I used 8 packs of hair for my long box braids-❤

You're the only person I've seen show it up close with good lighting and not having your hands in the way during it all as you attached it. Extremely helpful.

This braiding tutorial is the best one on UA-cam . Because I know how to 3 strand braid , I just struggled with gripping the root. But after watching your video , I can grip the root of my hair perfect. And the two strand way to braid your hair made it so easy .

    • @janasiaunderwood196

From what I got from the video, she put the twist in her hair before braiding because it would protect her hair from breaking off, with the braids tugging at her hair. So it's not just a few couple strands holding on to the heavy synthetic hair. More hair is grouped together, making it stronger, so it's resistance to breaking is higher.
Hope that makes some since :)

For everyone asking why she twist her hair first idk her reasoning but I did this method on my sisters hair and the style is lasting longer due to stray hairs not being able to pop up and cause frizz... I'm guessing cause the twist are holding those hairs down idk..

Hello, why at first the hair is braided in two? Is that really necessary, or is it due to the fact that your hair is straight and it is a way for synthetic hair to adhere better?
Excuse me if my text has misspellings, my language is Spanish.
    Regards.

Yes you can. Just simply twist your hair with a holding styling gel so your hair does not unravel at the ends since your hair is relaxed, and follow the steps :)

I do love this alot...just wondering ...instead of 2 strand twist which takes additional time why not just use one strand of hair as the 3rd leg like most people do. Seems this way would be longer as far as having to do those small twists then braid. Your hair came out beautiful tho
