- A blacksmith knife is commonly known among knife makers and some knife enthusiasts as a knife that has a handle forged from the tang in a loop fashion. Some also refer to this as a Viking knife.
This is our idea of a blacksmith knife. Imagine you go in to see a blacksmith of old and people came to raid his forge. This is the blade he would wield. This blade is forged from an old leaf spring and has very runic style engraving.

Back when I worked as a welder. I pulled my cap over my ears. You have a hot BB or some slag go down in your ear. You will wish you wou,d have had done differently.
