What did this guy actualy suffer from? All they mention is he choked in his sleep and his oxygen levels were low
Drinking alcohol is bad for you but they won't ban it or talk about the massive drain alcoholics have on the nhs. Regulate the ingredients in vapes and give businesses more support/ fines to stop underage purchases.
The ingredients are already regulated in vaping. That came in as part of a 2016 EU regulation which also capped the nicotine strength to 20mg/ml.
No mention of what the medical issue was that put him in hospital. Choking in his sleep..................but why? I'm guessing a very rare reaction to one of the ingredients (usually PG).
Flavours aimed at children...........really? What "adult" flavour will stop children vaping?

I've been doing it for 10 years not had one problem. Had a chest X-ray as part of a workplace health assessment a few months ago and everything looked great. It's dramatically better for you than smoking but obviously don't do either if you aren't addicted already. I'm on 5mg salt nic now, started at 36mg a decade ago.
every person affected by vapes are people with extremely rare medical problems. But the media or victims themselves will never tell you that.
I vaped when trying to quit smoking like 8 years ago. It confused most people around me who had no idea what it was. Now I'm seeing kids who've never even smoked an actual cigarette vaping all day, inside and out. They can't even stop when they're on the train!
Ive been vaping for 10yrs and my health amd breathing has improved immensely, obviously it doesnt suit everyone, for me its been a positive, put the age upto 25 yrs
Oh shut up, vaping did not improve your health. If your health improved, it was because of other factors, 100% not because of vaping. You are deluded

@@tippedjungle you're right but I've had no problems yet, at the gym I'm a runner and run for miles, that I couldn't do when I smoked, all I can do is give my experience...take it or leave it 😄

How much money have you spent feeding your addiction for ten years? Would it be worth stopping and saving that money the next ten years.
As a smoker, I got a disposable vape and the LED light at the end of it was like a fair ground! They’re made to be like toys to kids! Stop giving them attractive lights and start just doing tobacco flavours

My son vapes,and it scares me so much. He coughs terribly in the morning. I hope that the USa starts making it a prescription . He may stop. He's 28 and gets high. I used to smoke and now I vape and I feel a lot healthier than I was when I was smoking! The smell of smoking now makes me feel physically sick! I’m not saying vaping is good but certainly better than smoking!

I think vapes are more dangerous than smoking because when your smoking a cigarette at least you know you shouldn't be doing it.

Vaping should also be banned inside any enclosed space. Not sure why it's OK to do it on trains, inside pubs and restaurants. I don't want smell your breath or inhale your second hand smoke

Because there are no laws banning them indoors, it's up to the individual establishment. Somebody using a small MTL low wattage vape will barely be exhaling anything.

Government take action now young kids do it as a trend they dont think they do it for fun and to be cool the vapes are dangerous get rid youngsters need restriction make it expensive better still get rid. I think that cigarettes and vapes should be discontinued from all shops, apart from petrol stations and make it a ridiculous price. This way people will cut down on smoking and no young person will get their hands on em anymore.

They can smoke if they are above age limit. No one is making them smoke, they are choosing too.
Kids (under 18) should not be legally allowed to smoke (from a vape or otherwise). Parents and schools should also enforce that.
I use to smoke and vape but with vaping it messed up my throat a bit and it not the same since and still trying to recover so yea smoking or vaping isn’t worth it if you want to do something bad like that just stick to alcohol but even that I wouldn’t reconmend .

Popcorn lung can be fatal ,I think they're worse than cigs.
A group of popcorn factory workers developed the condition, leading to the name ‘popcorn lung’. They had breathed in diacetyl, as it was used as a flavouring in the popcorn. It was not related to use of e-cigarettes.
Although bronchiolitis obliterans is sometimes called ‘popcorn lung’, it can be caused by a number of different things. For example, it can happen after an infection, if it damages the lungs. Or after breathing in chemicals that irritate the lungs and cause damage.

Popcorn lung is caused by diacetyl, any previous e liquids what contains diacetyl (To give a buttery taste) were forced to stop using it over 5 years AGO!!
What they also don't tell you diacetyl is also in cigarettes - but over 100xs the amount what was ever in e-liquids.
