What temperature do you dry them on and for how long? Should I use one type of orange over another? Thank you for this beautiful idea. I can't wait to hang one in my kitchen!
I bake them for 3 hours at 250 F, flipping them halfway through. I also like to put them on a rack on top of my baking sheet while they’re in the oven. I let them sit on the rack overnight to continue drying once they’re baked. I just used regular navel oranges!

I put mine in a ziploc bag, then I store it in a Rubbermaid container with locking handles with the rest of my decor. It’s in my basement which is very dry and cool so I think that helps!

Stupid question: Do they retain their smell after they're dehydrated? I love this idea.
Not a stupid question at all, a lot of people ask that! They don’t retain any smell once they’ve been dried.
