It's quite necessary to use Gravebusters on almost every Dark Ages level. Also, if you plant food Puff Shrooms, they all get plant food, and it also resets all their times before they disappear.
when l found out there's not enough shrooms l was sad shroom was my favourite in pvz then they don't even add that much and the dark ages is so fast 20 levels? why it could have more.
Here’s a tip: if your puff shrooms are about to dissapear use plant food it resets their timer and giver all the others plant food effect giving puff shrooms a “power tile” like effect
The Jester zombie actually reflects projectiles, for example if you use pea shooter, he will just reflect the peas, it was kinda hard to see, because the only projectile he could reflect was puff shrooms projectile which is really small
Here’s a tip try only using plants that can launch items not plants that can shoot them because the jester zombie reflects peashooters or any shooting plants peas just a heads up
Tip: you should actually check the almanac as there are plants like the torch wood and starfruit where if you collect enough seed packets for them, you unlock so you could have actually unlocked a plant but haven’t claimed it yet
If you have a bunch of questions he 0 dollar plants and use plant food on one of them they all get the green effect this is a tip so use it and love the videos and they will regenerate and last longer
Nenaa, the Jester Zombie does a spinning attack to grab projectiles, like the Puff-Shroom shots, and throws them back at the plants. However, Fume-shroom's fumes, Lightning Reed's lightning, and Laser Bean's laser, can't be reflected by the Jesters.
Fun fact: The reason in the lost city you had the sunshrooms at one point is because the dark ages at one point (while they were still making all the levels) came BEFORE the lost city. Same thing with the alligator plant in the frostbite caves. came from a different world that hasn't come up yet. I'm not gonna spoil the names of the plant or the world it's gonna be in.
You should read the almanac whenever you meet a new zombie, some zombies have special abilities that's so situational you'd be surprised lol Example is all frostbite zombies are immune to freeze, but not to being ice blocked Probably more, or maybe just that XD

So don't put a repeater when jester in level. The jester can get counter by burst damage like lighting reeds, fume-shroom- laser beam, and much counter like type of melee, explode, and other. (and you still can sacrifice puff-shroom) :D
To keep puff shroom alive and reset his life span, just plant fooded him. And it gives boost to all other him. Plus sun bean useful with boosted fume shroom.

Zombies such as wizard zombie are almost impossible to make them eat a plant the wizard will just Sheepify the plant so i recommend using a insta-plant that explodes/whatever instantly ones that have to be eaten or have to have a zombie close to them are pretty much obsolete

Recommendations and stuff: If your planning to change up your lineup next vid, i recommend chosing more "cheap" plants for the Dark ages world. Lightning is considered both Overpowered And Underpowered Bc some people love him(like me) aand some people hate him bc of his low damage as a singular plant. Their will be a level here that i struggled to complete without the "needed" plant being boosted,. So i recommend Boosting up Sun bean for a future level Get an. Explosion plant if you have an extra slot,. Incase of emergency

Try some of my suggestions please???? Get Some premuin plants(at least per month, 4.99$ they all cost, 9.99$ to get fire pea, snow pea, and eletric pea.) Use plant food on puff shroom to reset his time limit, back to start. If you max level tile turnip, you get 3 free tile turnips, then she stays at 250.
Pushroom is op when you spam them correctly, I use them at every stage and it was so good Edit: My explanation is early on in most levels, zombies will force you to invest your early sun to cheap defenses to delay/kill the early zombies. And then you won't be able to stockpile resources and not get a lot of sun producers. Aaaand you will struggle mid and late part of the level. Puffshrooms will be able to defend early weak zombies with their free cost damage. 2 puffshrooms in a lane could efficiently kill basic and conehead zombies(I'm not sure about that one). Even the mid/late part of the level you can use them as throwable suicidal shields to delay more time. Also that's all I can say for now.
Dark Ages! Getting closer! From this point, zombies will come faster in the beginning, Puff-shroom is good for that, even for later worlds! But plant them near your sun producers, you want to give them space to handle the zombies.

At this state it gets annoying, there will be wizard zombies, they will create ur plants into sheep, you cannot kill or do anything to the sheep, to turn it back to a plant, kill the wizard as fast as you can, ohh yeah and 1 more thing, some levels will have imp dragons, they r immune to explosion and fire attacks, including cherry bomb, potato mine, fire peashooter and etc. Keep up the good work nenna

Puff-shroom is op imo, early game you can just spam them in one lane (like how you’d place a potato mine, 3 tiles away, because that’s it’s range!) it’s honestly my go-to early game strat

The tile turnip is actually quite worth it when you have very good sun producers like sun shroom. Theres an near 100% working combo with any really good sun producer, tile turnip, and magnifying grass where you put 2 or 3 lanes of sun producers in the 2nd row and then put magnifying grass behind the sun producers and then place 3 tile turnips on the magnifying grass. (im not saying that you should do this always.)
Nenna here is a tip putting puff-shroom and another puff-shroom putting plant food on the first puff-shroom the the second puff-shroom that you put will follow and it will stay staying to long made puff-shroom disappear putting also putting plant food on puf shroom will keep making disappear
Umm hello Nenaa. I know im a completely random stranger but i play dark ages so much and have some suggestions if you are going to keep up this series. First puff-shrooms actually are good,you just need to be able to spam a cluster of puff shrooms in a single lane. This is for the starting phases. You should keep in mind the puff shrooms have a range of 4 tiles. Because they cost literally nothing, you can put a couple behind a gravestone or a few tiles back from a zombie. Line them up and you will dominate!. Secondly, that weird zombie that spins a lot is called the jester zombie. He reflects projectiles. Most bullets will not work. You are just going to want to stack fume shrooms in place of the puff shrooms as you go. Finally there will be wizard zombies and king zombies as you go further. Freeze the wizards with iceberg lettuce if you can. As for the king zombies they will constantly give weak zombies helmets to make them very tanky. you will unlock magnet shroom later on. you should place one in a lane with a king zombie then use plant food.this will make it attract all metal helmets and buckets on the board then throw them at the zombies, crushing most of their defense. Your best bet for gargantuars will be kernel pults. Anyways thats about all the tips i can give. You are probably not gonna find this comment anyways, but if you do, I just want to say thank you so much for reading all this and your videos are pretty good. I like watching them a lot!

At this state it gets annoying, there will be wizard zombies, they will create ur plants into sheep, you cannot kill or do anything to the sheep, to turn it back to a plant, kill the wizard as fast as you can, ohh yeah and 1 more thing, some levels will have imp dragons, they r immune to explosion and fire attacks, including cherry bomb, potato mine, fire peashooter and etc. Keep up the good work nenna

Nenaa, Just wanted to say that you are literally 2 gems away from being able to purchase a plant bought with gems. you can easily get those 2 gems for free. Then you can buy one of them. (Hypno shroom is one of them for example)
Puff-shroom is op imo, early game you can just spam them in one lane (like how you’d place a potato mine, 3 tiles away, because that’s it’s range!) it’s honestly my go-to early game strat

I noticed the sun shrooms have different movements at didferent sizes
The tile turnip is actually quite worth it when you have very good sun producers like sun shroom. Theres an near 100% working combo with any really good sun producer, tile turnip, and magnifying grass where you put 2 or 3 lanes of sun producers in the 2nd row and then put magnifying grass behind the sun producers and then place 3 tile turnips on the magnifying grass. (im not saying that you should do this always.)

Umm hello Nenaa. I know im a completely random stranger but i play dark ages so much and have some suggestions if you are going to keep up this series. First puff-shrooms actually are good,you just need to be able to spam a cluster of puff shrooms in a single lane. This is for the starting phases. You should keep in mind the puff shrooms have a range of 4 tiles. Because they cost literally nothing, you can put a couple behind a gravestone or a few tiles back from a zombie. Line them up and you will dominate!. Secondly, that weird zombie that spins a lot is called the jester zombie. He reflects projectiles. Most bullets will not work. You are just going to want to stack fume shrooms in place of the puff shrooms as you go. Finally there will be wizard zombies and king zombies as you go further. Freeze the wizards with iceberg lettuce if you can. As for the king zombies they will constantly give weak zombies helmets to make them very tanky. you will unlock magnet shroom later on. you should place one in a lane with a king zombie then use plant food.this will make it attract all metal helmets and buckets on the board then throw them at the zombies, crushing most of their defense. Your best bet for gargantuars will be kernel pults. Anyways thats about all the tips i can give. You are probably not gonna find this comment anyways, but if you do, I just want to say thank you so much for reading all this and your videos are pretty good. I like watching them a lot!
