I think you both had a lot of fun being blown about 😂 congratulations on becoming End to Enders. A fine accolade indeed. I really enjoy your videos. Lots of laughs and great destinations. 😊⭐🤗 Benny Hill hotel 😂
What a wonderful tour guys. I did part of this tour many years ago with friends from the Uk . Didn't make it to John O' Groats. Hope one day We will make it there. Hope you had a lager to celebrate becoming End to Enders. Love you dear friends. We shall chat soon. Be Well ! Harriet, Jim and Yuki 😍😍😍
If my memory serves me right, we had a big meal and a bottle of wine in the Betty Hill Hotel's dining room that night to celebrate!!! Thanks so much for watching! 😀😀
Congratulations on being End to Enders, I'm still making the very slow journey to achieve that. Make that extremely slow as I went to Land's End 10 years ago and have yet to make the trip north! Very hardy surfers to go into the water at Thurso!
Haha maybe next time you're back in the UK you can make more progress! 😆 Yes, I'd imaging you'd have to be really good at surfing in order to attempt the waves in Thurso! Do you surf? I wish I knew how!
Hope you enjoyed your trip through Thurso it’s good you pointed out Thurso is famous for surfing as it can blow some tourists minds seeing kids walking through town in wetsuits with surfbirds under their arms. If we had known you back then we could have met up for coffee if Covid had allied at the time!
Haha yes, we saw several surf gear shops in town - so cool! And we agree, we wish we had known you back then, too! It would have been so fun to have a friend in town, and to help us learn even more about the area! If we come back, we will definitely let you know 😀
Haha yes! Derek and I met at freshman orientation at IU, and we started officially dating during welcome week. Now we’ve been together for half of our lives! 😀
Thank you so much, Matthew! I'm so glad you've like watching this series!!!! It's been a labor of love to put each episode together, and it's comments like this one that keep me going. Fingers crossed that more people will find this channel and enjoy my videos like you do! 🙏
Hahaha! We actually met at our freshman orientation at IU, and became a couple during our Welcome Week back when we were 18! Can’t believe that was 17 years ago now! Needless to say we love IU, but Purdue is a great school, too, of course! 😆
So true! It's funny, when I was editing this video and still had the footage we filmed on the beach by Thurso Bay, I was sooooooo grateful to us for having refilmed later in less wind! It was so difficult to understand us! I'm really glad that it's not usually like that, because your beaches are truly beautiful!

We just call it home!
You are so lucky to be able to do so!

Thanks Anna, so glad you’re still liking them! 😀

Just 3 weeks till we leave for the UK.
We'd planned to travel to Thurso from Inverness so great to have a sneak peek.
How fun! Crossing my fingers that you’ll get much better weather than we had! 😀🏴
I.U?!!! Wow!!! Love it! I'm IU '84 and '89.

I like to say make sure your engineer is from Purdue but your doctor is from IU. :D@@MeansToTravel
@@thall7368 Haha yes, sounds about right! Definitely be wary of any engineers from IU since we don't have an engineering school 😉
EXACTLY, though I have worked with IU Computer Science majors. :D I worked in Bloomington for a time.@@MeansToTravel
Should have said you are missing some wonderful beaches. (I know the weather is not beach weather!)
