Comments on the new entries here! *IRELAND* Yeah, I see that this entry has its fans, and I think it's good that after two editions of Eurosong being incredibly bland and generic, Ireland's taking a risk this year. Sadly this entry really doesn't do it for me. It's jarring, aggressive and extremely unpleasant on the ears to me, while out of nowhere it suddenly becomes more gentle. The switching of ideas in the song feels completely random and to me it lacks cohesion. I doubt this will grow on me, and I see little reason that would motivate the common ESC viewer to latch onto a song so aggressively jarring and screechy. Still, it's definitely something we haven't seen before. *LUXEMBOURG* Last year I thought it and I still find it difficult to grasp we ACTUALLY have Luxembourg back at Eurovision for the first time in a little more than THIRTY years, it's wild! While I'm very sad that Krick (my favorite of the NF) did not win, I don't think Tali is a bad choice at all. The song is boppy, I like the way it weaves into French at some parts, and she performed it well during the national final. Whether this will qualify? I have no idea to be honest, since people are either gonna vote for this because they like it, or it's gonna be ignored and Luxembourg won't leave the necessary impact to make the cut in May. At this point though, I do find it one of the clear better entries we have thus far.
My Top 6 so far: 6. Albania- 4/10 5. Czechia- 5.5/10 4. Ireland- 6/10 I appreciate they are finally trying and send something unique. But hell that song is to much of Psycho music on some parts, and that can easily wreck my nerves 3. Slovenia- 7/10 2. Luxemburg- 8/10 1. France- 8.5/10 Just one thing: If Iceland should pick Bashar I fear we might get some huge trouble ahead, especially considering Tali is partly israelian :x
I don't really think it would be *THAT* big of a problem, to be honest, given she herself *is* from Luxembourg. It would be seriously wrong to condemn a person just because they have a certain ancestry
@@ESCStroopwafelThats Not what I wanted to say. But I still could generally see Trouble If Iceland makes that Pick. I don't condem anyone, especially not Israelians because I personally think the hate towards that country does completely go too far.
@@jere_diekralle7284 Yeah, I agree with you. It's just like with a lot of Russians that they get shunned even if they are against their country's political agenda. It's unfair to judge a person just because they've got a certain ancestry. If Iceland does pick the guy (which, let's be real, he was announced before anyone else, they deffo will pick him) I think it's nothing but an attempt to piss off the Israeli broadcaster in the hopes of them quitting instead of Iceland, since RÚV did say they were uncertain of whether they'd compete at all in May
