  • @DocHalliday
    @DocHalliday 5 років тому +14

    With those 8 pads, it actually matches up pretty good with the Numark Scratch - and that makes a pretty damn good lower cost combination for anyone who is looking to get their first turntable setup.

      I was thinking this be a great set up for a bedroom dj like myself. Id like to see the elite vs numark scratch comparison in the near future.

    • @DocHalliday
      @DocHalliday 5 років тому +2

      @@nnguyen3482 My guess is that the main advantage the Reloop Elite would have over the Numark Scratch would be the number of actual pads on the mixer, the dual sound cards, and the USB link ports. The decks have pads on them, so you won't be missing much there, but if you can do without the other stuff, you'll save $700 - $800...

      @@DocHalliday thanks, that was my thinking too, I dont need a dual sound card as a bedroom dj. and 4 pads will do me fine as Im coming from dicers/57.

    changing keys with changing speeds used to be done manually with the Technics by turntablists but they would use the pitcj fader and the 45. 33 rpm buttons.

You talk like 1200s never had any issues with them. 1200s only lasted 40 years because it didn’t have any competition back then. Stop drinking the 1200 kool-aide bro. • @Blaulicht1120
      @Blaulicht1120 5 років тому

      Both are Hanpin, so it is basically a design preferences question. 4000 has closer design to Technics, while 140 has round Start-Stop button. Not sure if it has metal top panel as 4000 does. But 140 has platter dots visualisation as Technics, while 4000 not. Tonearm is the same. I assume internals are equal. (I own 2x 4000mk2. Before them I had 2x 2000M. I dissassembled both models and did electronics
      comparison: only motor was different. :D)
