If the both signs are minus they will be cut minus minus is equal to plus and then the answer will be -q/p
For Example

Does a vector exist it's inverse under the combination of scalar, dot or cross multiplication? Ans-- No because the vector set doesn't exist an identity element. so there ain't an inverse. But it can have reciprocal as vector A has its reciprocal=vector A/( modulus of A) ^2. but not inverse.
