As heart breaking as this story began...I can't begin to tell you all how incredible it is that while grieving, your ultimate goal was to get Silver a foal of her own to raise! There are times when I feel as if No words really can take away the pain and hurt of the moment and this is one of those times. I'm reminded though of the Legacy of Cannon Hall Farm in making sure Every Animal has a chance! Prayers and Good Vibes sent across The pond From Ohio!

Unfortunately where you have livestock you get deadstock , l lost a mare last year during foaling , she bled to death after an artery ruptured internally , bottle fed the foal with lambs milk and milk nuts , now she s a beautiful yearling and over 14 . 3 already , good luck with the mare !
Every Shire birth is valuable. So sad Silver lost her foal. So wonderful that you are concerned for her mental health as well as the breed.

What happened to sapphire the naughty foal from a few years back my daughter loved watching the videos about her
I was under the impression that its the foal that travels to the mare?am i wrong?
They did find a foal and took Silver for a few days and I think they have brought Silver and the Foal to Cannon hall farm.
