I've been to that mall countless times in my life, as I had family that lived out there and I used to work in the area. Nowadays I don't visit, but I have some good memories of it and I'm glad to see it still kicking when Rolling Acres and Chapel Hill died off.
My cousin went to high school with Dahmer and he would concur with the other students that Dahmer was a weirdo that gave people the willies. He said people did one of three things in regards to him: ignored him completely, make fun of him by making him do strange things, or just nod a hello then move away quickly. He said no one wanted to be around him, and he was at a party one night when Dahmer showed up, everyone felt really uncomfortable and pretty much ignored him until he left, after he got roaring drunk apparently.

Great video! This is one of my local malls and I come here a lot! It’s pretty cool to see how far this place has come over the years. To be honest, I think this place still has a lot of life left in it!

Thank you for this great video. I grew up near this mall and remember when it was built.

A mall with business and people! Looks pretty healthy compared to many others.

You would’ve been exploring rolling acres instead if they didn’t replace cops with cheap security.
