this is such a lovely pattern! here are some adjustments i made as a size Medium with long arms, larger upper arms, and small wrists: - starting chain 61 - total 40 rows for each sleeve - rows 1-10: chain 3 between each petal & single crochet - rows 11-30: chain 2 between - rows 31-40: chain 1 between I decreased the in-between chains to achieve a more tapered look as the starting chain fits my upper arm but is too wide for my wrists. For the body portion, I started with a foundation single crochet row of 61 for a neater neckline and worked from the neckline down instead of from shoulder to shoulder.
Sorry I'm kinda new to crochet and I'm trying to do this to my mom. She too has an upper harm a bit larger and small wrists, so I was gonna follow your comment! But I don't understand what should I decrease! Can you help me understand please? Thank you!
This pattern works great for farmer's market mesh bags when done in the round, as well! My daughter wore sleeves like this for her most recent school dance, too. It's a great, versatile lace. 🥰
I really like how clearly you explained each step of the pattern, and at a speed that was easy for me to follow. I added length to make it a longer pullover sweater. I love the way it came out! Thank you!
I was currently making some freehand treble crochet +ch1 sleeves for myself but I wasn’t in love because the square pattern felt a bit modern/blocky whereas this floral stitch is so much more my style & fits my clothing better!!!! Thank you as per usual, I love your mind 😭😭❤️❤️
When you are notorious for over complicating things 😭😭 but I finally got the hang of it and glad I didn't give up made mine in pinks and whites and can not be happier thank you so much 😊
I subscribed to your patreon to get this specific pattern in a written form and there is no written pattern. Only a UA-cam video. That's 10 quid out of the window. Very disappointing

great and beautiful pattern! this is my first attempt at crochet clothing and I made mine into a full length sweater! some regrets I have are wishing i made the sleeves a bit bigger at the top and i also made the sleeves extremely long on accident 😅 still I am so excited to wear it!
if you want to adjust the sizing and make part of it bigger, you should look into blocking ! it helps make things slightly bigger or smaller and helps the clothing hang more naturally
i love this tutorial but i’m a plus size and i’m having issues. when it fits my wrist well it doesn’t fit my upper arm but when it fits my upper arm the sleeves look too big on my wrist i was wondering if there was any way i can increase or decrease to get it to fit well if anyone has had the same problem as me and found a solution to it (:
Hi, I’m plus size too so I think I found the solution 😂 when you joined the sleeves for the upper arm part I used 5 chains instead of 3 chains until the elbow then turned back to join it with 3 chains and it’s looks perfect 🎉
Hey! For me, I made sure to make it fit my upper arm which was about 51 stitches. when i got down to my elbow instead of doing chain 3, I did chain 2, and then further down I changed it to chain 1. It fits almost perfectly and is a beautiful taper without making anything too difficult, the pattern stays the same just less chains. I hope this helps.

Come back. I gave up and came back. After you do it so many times you see it’s a pattern and it’s kinda easy, I remember it like this, you’re doing two stitches the petal and the line. The petal stitch includes the tr, 5sc, and tr into the stitch and the line is just the ch3 and sc into the right place. You just alternate between doing the two and it’s easier to remember there is 3 chains in between each it’s like what separates each so there is the 3 chain (separation) sc, 3 chain (separation) tr into right place, then start the petal (tr, 5ch, and tr into same space,) and then 3chains to separate and start the sc part again which is just sc into the right place. You have to do it

Anyone needing a bigger size just add stitches to your starting chain in increments of 10 😘
wht would it be if you need a smaller sized stitching? I am usually an Xs, but can fit Small occaisionally
so id go down a size, by increments of 10?
How many stitches do i need without the plus ten
