Glorious scenery and impressive places to visit enroute. I reckon that next time I book a holiday I'm going to take you along, because nearly all the videos you do have great weather!!! Really looking forward to the next instalments.
Greetings from Dundee. I've been talking about hiring a boat from west highland sailing and cruising the canal for years and years. You've captured the atmosphere of the highlands perfectly and you've clearly not let the rain bother you. Thanks for your time filming and editing this awesome wee film. I think I'm probably going to binge on the rest of your vids now. perfect lockdown viewing.
Cruised this stunning canal a week ago, from exactly the same starting point (we went towards Banavie first, so in the other direction), and I admit to having been inspired by your videos. Just be aware of the wind on there everyone, it will definitely test your boat-handling skills ...
I'm pleased you've not seen them 😀 There should be 5 of them. 3 on the boat, one towpath walk and one disused railway up there. You may have seen the later ones 😉
"It's absolutely freezing...." Alice didn't look like SHE was freezing! she looked like she was having a great time! ah, the early morning mist clinging to the hills....this was just beautiful, Ant!
You can also use Caley cruisers and start from Inverness going the opposite way, through Loch Ness stop at Urquhart Castle half way down then onto fort Augustus go see the abbey, take the boat through the locks approximately 5 in short succession which lift the boats up around 20 meters from one level to the next then from there onto Lagan lock going through both lochs, it’s a beautiful way to see this part of Scotland and the fun you will have sailing a boat.
Im convinced. Scotland it is ... Stunning.
Beautiful boat……..Cheers all! 🏴🙂👍🇺🇸

It's planted the seed for me to do more like this next year. The weather has had its moments recently, a couple coming up are in the pouring rain 😂

Life must be boring if putting pants on snakes is a past time...

Alice is a lovely dog - what breed is she?
Shame you didn't start in Fort William - but great video anyway.
We did 2 years ago, sadly time didn't allow on this occasion. A reason to go back maybe? :)
What website or business was it to book it. Want to surprise my little kid.
I did it through Hoseasons or you can do it directly with West Highland Sailing
