Spain seems to be the skate mecca
Spain is supposedly a lot more tolerant of skateboarding too. I wouldn't be surprised if Barcelona eventually takes LA's place as the home of the skate industry one day. It's possible. It use to be around Venice Beach. Now it's downtown LA and I always hear pros complaining about how hard it is to skate there since everything is knobbed and there's so many skaters in the city that as soon as a new spot is found, thousands of skaters have skated it within a week, then it's a bust. On top of dealing with cops/security, they also have to fight hours of traffic to get from one place to another. I'd imagine Barcelona already is the home of the European skate industry-I don't know though.
no it will not take over the skate industry one day.... Barca has been on the map as "skateboard mecca"for years and years already!!( began late 90's if i am not mistaking. it's no LA/hollywood/fancy bullshit...

Am I the only one that thinks "grasshopper" whenever looking at Diego's feet? His lanky frame pared with his postured style is just so ascetically pleasing in an unconventional way. I kinda see a small similarity between the way him and Miles Silvas land their tricks.
