Thanks for the review. I am on an 16 hour flight from LA to Singapore soon and was curious if this would work. Hoping for good things. Luckily I am in business and a solo seat so I won’t disturb any neighbors. I’ll let you know how it goes. Also, if you can afford the quest 3 you can afford the $10 for skybox. 😅
Great stuff 😊👏👏 and sacrifice in terms of it beeing akward around other passengers. If the Quest 3 had a cooler looking front i think it would be alot easier to wear and also people wouldn't be as weirded out or just overly curious about "what that guy is doing"😅 If i ever travel alone at some point i might bring it on the flight. But other than that with the wife and kids it wont work for me on a plane 😅
So many questions after watching the video, but I wanted to bring up that I know people say battery headstraps might be uncomfortable to use but I have no problem resting my head on a chair on a plane while using the Quest 3 to watch movies. Also, the Aubika battery headstrap that I own was allowed on the plane so I didn't have to worry about longer battery life and airline restrictions there. However, the things I WANT to see someone demonstrate on a plane is using BigScreen VR and hosting a room so that friends/family that could be sitting in different seats on the plane can still watch movies/shows/content WITH YOU and TALK LIKE THEY'RE SITTING NEXT TO YOU (because BigScreen VR allows push to talk functions so you can talk to the other people in the theater with you) during the flight. Also, if you pay for the premium internet package on the flight, maybe you can have someone back home host a theater and then you wouldn't have to host from the plane. Then you can join the theater with them and talk to them throughout the flight or watch the movie with them during the flight.....lol, like I said, I have so many questions but I'm still waiting for someone to attempt this and demonstrate how it's done or how the experience was. Regardless, video gets a thumbs up from me for being able to continue watching your movie from the bathroom, lmao.
Thank you for sharing your experience. I will be traveling for business frequently over the next few months and I am looking forward to trying the MQ3 for myself. Did you have any latency or delays with your headset? I tried using my AirPod Pro with Beat Saber but the delay was unbearable.
I plan to use it during my 2.5 flight.
Oh yeah its also on quest 2 too i have seen it on there gonna try it on my road trip Friday afternoon
Bon voyage!
Using my Quest 3s today on a 1,5hr Ryanair flight. See how it does with no space around me

I'm thinking about buying one just because of a fear of flying. I want it to be on before I ever get on the plane haha.
Fantastic video, not many of these are on UA-cam. Nice contribution 👏
