how fortuitous! have a pigeon and a dove in the freezer right now that are super dried out, i figured i'd have to just get the bones from them and abandon the skin. wonderful video!!

Give it try with this method. However keep in mind that pigeons and doves are one of the hardest birds out there to mount even when freshly obtained. But you won’t know till you try.

Thanks, i have a dried out Kingfisher. Its in the freezer since 5 years, and i got it already dry. Can this method fix it or is it to late for that?

If it’s been bagged properly in the freezer this should relaxes it.

Is there a specific dish soap-to-water ratio we should be using for the solution mix? Thanks for the vids 😁

Good question 😄 it doesn’t matter really. Just fill up your dish and use a little bit till it gets a little colour to the water. If you over use or under use , doesn’t hurt anything. As long as there is some in the water it helps with relaxing the skin.

Dawn Dish detergent , it’s a good relaxer and also has anti bacterial.

when i try in ject the feet i find the syringe is hard to inject find pressure in the syringe any theories thanks paul m

Hi Paul… it usually is hard to inject. But not that hard. What do you inject and what size needle do you use on your syringe ?
