I would like to say the route planning is mostly down to Carol but she does like Simon Weir's book. She has mastered Basecamp which as yet remains a bit of a mystery to me. At least we took the bikes on this one. 😂 Always good to hear from you Steve. Cheers.
4:25 "Clutch is grabby first thing on this bike"! Glad to hear, that it's not just my MT10 then! 26:56 We all know that feeling and why we love our MT10s. Great video again.
Get off my favourite roads🤪, glad you enjoyed my back yard, seriously underrated except by those in the know. The new sound set up is excellent, lovely having the dual set up with both your appreciations of the scenery, love the Borders.
I do envy you having this so close, we love the area. Yes think we can get good sound but our Hero 7 has been a total frustration! I'm editing a loop to Bambourgh Castle now and this time it's got misting up issues. Me and Gopro could easily part company! Appreciate you taking the time to view and comment.
Cheers Tony. Carol says it's the first time we've shared our GPX files so there's always a chance they may not be perfect. You do get a preview of where our forthcoming vids are going as well 👍👍
It seems lately that what ever audio/video equipment you buy is soo unreliable. I went out to Malham yesturday and my OSMO action steamed up in the lens. Tried loosening it off and it was red hot. The usb cable had melted. Thankfully the footage that i needed was ok. I also have issues with Gopro, sometimes it works and others it just doesnt work. And they charge you the earth for this equipment. Really makes me mad. Great video as usual. sorry for the rant.
Completely get the frustration, the Gopro was steaming up the lens on the way to the border stones. On many tours you only get one chance to record and if its a key moment you feel like throwing the camera! Anyways thanks for watching cheers
Good video as always, we just done a trip to lake district then to Loche Awe in the Highlands, Isle of Mull then on to Thirsk before returning home. No footage however as helmet camera mount broke on the first leg of journey.
Shame about your camera, it's a beautiful area. We were just thankful we had four days with little or no rain. Thanks again for watching and ride safe. Cheers
Another great vid, Richard. Always good to see you and Carol on the roads. I’d love to know what mics you’re using. 😊 Hope we can ride one day together. 😉🏍💨
Hi thanks for watching, we love the roads in this area. The microphones we use are Hama 57152 Voip Notebook microphone available on Amazon for £7.00. Don't even bother with a dead cat. If you are ever thinking about seeing the Peak District area, give me a shout, we are in South Derbyshire
@@Banditmanuk Thanks so much for sending the mic details. I have tried so many but never been satisfied. Yours are the best I've heard. Seven quid, really? It sounds so good so I've ordered one and I'll give it ago. Again, thank you! Hopefully, it will put an end to my microphone woes. Yes - sounds like a one nighter up from Sussex is due.
Another cracking video you two, some top roads there. Your slowly working your way through that great book aren't you.

Yep it's always done it and care is required 👍👍 Still a great fun bike.
Thanks for watching the vid cheers
I live less than an hour from the border and Kielder so this is my regular riding routes... Great to see them on here... Thanks...
We love riding in this area, you're lucky to be so close. Thanks for watching cheers
Good stuff again Richard! Not familiar with that area but love the roads and scenery 👍 nice Relive clip too 😉👍😀!
Thanks, really appreciate you saying. Subscribed to the music library you suggested as well, kind of spoilt for choice now. Dodged the rain as well👍👍
@@Banditmanuk Yes, recognised Epidemic Sounds👍 so much to choose from 😀 - always good to stay dry too 🌧 looking forward to the next vid! 👍😀
Great video Richard and congratulations to Carol for picking a cracking route. Looking forward to the next one, take care 👍🏍🏁
Thanks John, I'm lucky that Carol is quite good at planning the routes, she's put a link in the description to her routes if anyone wants to use them.

Great rideout vlog again. Amazing scenery. I'm envious.
It really makes the hours spent stitching the clips together worth it when I get feedback like yours John. Really appreciate it thanks.
Brilliant guys thoroughly enjoyed that and thanks for putting the GPX file up brilliant 👏

Beautiful Scenery.
Certainly is Paul, we loved the area and the pub we stopped at.
Great videos of my local biking haunts, brilliant roads & scenery. Keep up the great work 👍
Thanks, will do!
Just started catching up my videos and was pleased to a new video from you and Carol. Lovely open roads was a little surprised.
Thanks, yes it's about 200 miles north of the area we live. The border between England and Scotland has some great riding.
That looked fantastic. Ah but so far away 😏 At least I’ve kind of experienced it through you two. Many thanks 😊👍🏼
Yep its a long old haul up the country for you but if you ever fancy a challenge its worth the traveling. Cheers and take care
Another excellent video, thank you.
Thanks for watching, cheers
The Buddhist place at 20.53 is Kagyu Samye Ling Monastery :-)
Arr brilliant thanks for that👍

Marvellous! Carry On :) PS Do you not like the idea of inserting a power pack? (into the camera of course) ;)
To be honest I've never tried inserting one 😳 Perhaps I should give it a go.
