I'll likely wait to try these until after the Complete Edition (just in case there are issues) but I could definitely see myself enjoying some of these... especially SCAAR, it really adds to the overall aesthetic of the combat.
That smooth combat mod, to me, just makes Geralt's movements seem even more inhumanly faster, even for a witcher. Sort of like how Vessimer in the Netflix special was making those ridiculous inhuman leaps. The movements are already fast enough and I like to think that combat is slightly grounded in reality.
Well, the thing is, the books describe witchers having superhuman reflexes so it works within the lore but I get what you're saying. Before I played the game, one of the things that turned me off was how Geralt leaps around like Yoda on steroids sometimes but after I gave the game a shot, I came to enjoy it. I learned to love it even more when I realized that it was done for more than just cosmetic reasons, that witchers are just faster and more agile than average humans.
@@LastKnownMeal I'm too casual youngling for its combat it's haaard, clunky&outdated for me, I can't git gud, only rage quit and stuck 🤣😅 I had a pipedream, if it was remade inside of Witcher 3, W2 included, in a physicly connected world where with the magic of ssds we could literally walk over the zones, and experience a pause-less long time atoll whole trilogy in one game with skme extra content, and same combat systems across...😢
So quick question. Do you have the Enhanced edition downloaded when showcasing all these mods? Its something that I wanna do but I don't wanna cause clashes between the files.
No, I don't use EE on these mods, I am not sure if they will clash, although it's easy to test, just import if it doesn't work delete mod you imported and that's it
The SCAAR mod... I still cant figure out the differences between these 4 versions; tactical and others.... I understand the V1 V2 and V3 differences but what about these categories??
You mentioned there aren't certain types of mods because the game doesn't support them: I wonder which aspects of the engine (3rd party/proprietary libraries, or other decisions) led to less mod support compared to the previous Witcher games. 🤔 Admittedly I haven't looked for info about this yet so I'm ignorant. Nice mod showcase, though.
Its mostly that initial mods came out in 2016 or 2015 and some of the modders went to support and help with Witcher Enhanced Edition mod which does even more for combat. Overall its just the lack of proper modding tools also tbh, you can only do so much with the tools they have and even that are not unified tools.
Its a good idea to play that mod when i didnt play vanilla witcher 3 ? (im old rpg player and like hard challenges) or play oryginal w3 to see how much is to repair.
when i put the Scaar mod manually the game doesnt load. If i put it with vortex it doesnt work (its like i did nothing). I tried other combat animations too with vortex installation but the game doesnt load either new game or load game. Neither with the dodge mods tweaks. I dont have any other combat mod installed pls help !! I bought the game recently from steam. The 10 dollars offer.
If you have issues with mods just use Vortex, it's more streamlined and might work. I use it sometimes when I can't figure out manual way of putting a mod
Either through Console Debugger Mod or just google how to enable console in The Witcher, you will need to add a small command in an ini file: DBGConsoleOn=True, location is The Witcher 3 folder > bin > config > base and there you will see general.ini. But google in any case if you need additional info.

Oh boy…going to have to play this game again now. Ah well not complaining this is a true work of art and mods make it even better!
can't wait for the ee vid, it's my favourite mod but haven't played witcher 3 in a long time
Awesome thank you
Thank you for watching!
Cool mods, thanks
Thanks for watching!
the Mods SCAAR folder is not included in the files anymore.
Just what I needed for a proper reason to replay. combined with a level scaling mod this will be great
Just wait for next gen update
@@yikeru114 why would you ever wait to play
W3EE seems cool but I couldn't get it to work and didn't feel like deleting all my mods
Is there any mod which makes targetting completely manual?

I would need same video but for Witcher 1... if there's even W2/3 combat like mods for that...
I will take a look and see if there is something interesting.

Where is The Witcher 3 Enhanced Edition video, you forgot about it.

Is XT Finishers compatible with TW3 1.32? I can't seem to make it work it always have script compilation errors
Is there any performance impact with the mods?
Only if you're using visual mods
Its a good idea to play that mod when i didnt play vanilla witcher 3 ? (im old rpg player and like hard challenges) or play oryginal w3 to see how much is to repair.
I would play vanilla game, but I have another video for graphical mods if you want that but overall vanilla is more than fine

U hit dlc or mod limit. Go to nexus search for dlc limit fix, it should fix your problem as long as the scripts are compiled properly
Is there a mod that gives it more Dark Souls-like combat? This game would be the greatest game of all time if it had souls-like combat.
I wanted to use the Ederin armor mod but had was a pain in the arse to install so I gave up and removed the game from my ssd.

@@LastKnownMeal It manual install for the mod I'm on about and the guide to install the mod is terrible.
@@Themistocles30 Aah, I see, yeah you are right, sometimes it's just not explained right
The best combat mod so far for me is Magic Spells. By far the least lore friendly of the bunch, though, as it effectively turns you into a mage.
So if I add the mods while half way into the story, I have to start over?
Not with these, you can continue your game normally, just always backup your saves when you mod
bro to make this mods work should i start new game ?
No not with combat mods, you can just continue
@@LastKnownMeal I can continue the game with compat mods ? and if it work can you send the link of them please
anyone got windows 11? cant get any mods to work... sucks a$$
