    3:35 Here's a challenge for you, Jon. Write your name in the spectrum with the spectral filter mod :D Amazing tutorial this one! So glad I found your channel! You got a sub ;)

    I cannot stress how much time I spent learning all of these just going through each one on saw & sin waves. This tutorial is gold so people don't have to use my very time consuming method.

      You probably learned them pretty well though by spending the time and getting to know all the osc effects. It's insane how many possibilities there are

    🤪 Thank you for doing, this, it's my best hope for ever learning the Zebras. But now I need to go listen to some nice sine waves :-)

      You're very welcome!! I'm happy to do it! Zebra is such a great synth with so many possibilities. I'm aiming for every weekend to be zebra weekends until the course is compete

      Zebra is so deep so these zebra weekends will last for some time, that's good to know. 👍🙂

    It is fascinating how much variation you can get only with 1 oscillator based on a saw wave.

    • @jonaudio
      @jonaudio  Рік тому +1

      Yeah it's pretty crazy, and on top of that, you get two knobs of spectral effects that can both be modulated. Zebra is insane

    Concise and well explained but: How on Earth can you speak so fast yet understandably?
    btw, I'm not even a native English speaker.

      to answer your question, I've always spoken fast, to me its a normal pace, but I get lots of people telling me I talk way too fast lol

    LOL;;so many mistakes it's painful to watch
    You had absolutley no idea what was happening whe shwocasing the phase distortion , LOL
    THe phase distortion effect showcased at 14:30 , you have to set the phase distortion effect to full and leave it there .
    Then you alter draw in new shapes in the geomorph , the geomorph is the actual ramp that read the cosine wave in the cz effect .
    WHaen its a saw tit reads the cosine , makes the saw narrower and the resulting cosine is bend ...that's how yo use the phase distortion .
