- Today AD is welcomed by Rainn Wilson and wife Holiday Reinhorn for a tour of their rustic new home in Southern California. After over a dozen years in suburban Los Angeles, the former star of “The Office” was ready for something different, looking for a move closer to to the ocean with a little more space and quiet. Rainn and Holiday have made a beautiful home, bursting with personality, featuring breezy tiled porches and high-ceiling rooms lined with evocative art. A pair of friendly pigs are happy to come running for oat treats and pets from their backyard abode. And of course Rainn’s office would include some memorabilia from his time as Dwight Schrute, but you might be surprised to find a gorgeous wooden table on the patio handcrafted by none other than Nick Offerman of “Parks And Recreation.”

Rainn gives off the energy of Dwight when he had a concussion.

It literally brought tears to my eyes how much rainn loves Dwight and his fans when he showed his home office with all the Dwight props and fan art. This man is so talented and charismatic yet not at all arrogant. He’s so loving and appreciative of his fans.
The fact he still feels so connected to Dwight and references him makes me so happy. Not many actors enjoy constantly being constantly associated to a role they played that they’re well known for, but Rainn carries Dwight with him.
Most of the actors on the Office, that’s what they’re most known for and it was a big part of their lives so it’d be hard to get away from
I think it's two different things to be connected to a character or being constantly associated with..
Rainn once said in a tweet that he hated constantly being associated with dwight and the office lol
@@horsegirl97100 he probably got fed up by people constantly "shipping" him with angela

He is actually pretty smart, he was a member of the debate club in his high school.

Some would say that is one of the defining qualities that Dwight would find in a soulmate
It's cool how he cherishes The Office and his Dwight character.

His house looks so fancy but at the same time so homey. We've seen a lot of celebrity homes that look very fancy but missing that warmth.
I
I think it might be due to his philosophical beliefs. He's very into finding contentment and providing wellbeing to others
Watch the Aaron Paul episode!
I totally agree
Never was a fan of comments saying that the houses of celebrity this and that is not homey. Like guys its their home, the choices they made are what makes a home for them. I don't think its anyones position to say if ones home is homey and warm apart from the people living in it. Imagine someone going to your house saying "this doesn't feel like home", bish how rude, place your subjective opinion somewhere else.
I love how passionate he is about his house and paintings. He seems like a very happy person. And it's so great that they are sponsoring education for girls :)
His wife's name is Holly.
Their designer is named Tammy.
And Ron Swanson built him a table!

Dwight: We need to add a panic room for the zombie apocalypse
Rainn: We need to take out this panic room for the "zombie apocalypse"
I love how he’s proud of playing Dwight. Most actors dont want to be associated with their ‘lowly’ television work even when that is what made them famous.
Facts
here take my 666th like.
Idk if it’s just me but I always found that really odd like they try to further themselves away from a character that essentially like you said made them big and what got them their fans which is always a huge buzzkill for me cause they come off so arrogant like apreactiate that you got that part and they always want to be doing “bigger and better things” like your allowed to do that but don’t be an a-hole about what made you big and humble yourself
@@morgenteart7119 Think of it like this, you posted a video of yourself on UA-cam that you worked hard over. Then in just a couple of days, to months, to years, that video garners millions of views. Suddenly, you're famous as the guy posted that video. Great! It feels good for a while, being suddenly famous for something you put your heart into.
Now you want to do a new project, upload another video. That video doesn't do as well, and everyone in the comments either only references your older video or thinks you've gone a step-down. That sucks, you try to post a similar video instead, and people say that you did worse. You keep posting videos, and the views just get lower, and most if not everything in the comments is just about your old video.
Just because someone is distancing from something that made them popular isn't a wrong move, nor being arrogant. "Doing bigger and better things" are generally because the old work is dated and/or just doesn't feel good. It might be a slight buzzkill for you because the actor disliked being only known as this one thing, but a bigger one for the person's whole life is this one thing. You or even I don't know how exactly they feel for never amounting to what they've reached, and constantly having the reminder from their own "fans". Fame doesn't equal good. You can get any fame you want, but it can still be a thorn that will always be stuck into your skin.
It feels like a real home, somewhere you can be comfortable. Not a staged showplace, filled with things valued only monetarily. Everything means something to them.
I agree
I feel like this is how every home should be like. Warm and comfortable. But that's just my opinion ☺
I despise the home, this 'comfortable' narrative tends to be pedelled by eclectic wannabe artists
Where’s the “America Room”, “Irrigation Room”, and “Nighttime Room” ?!!
Yes, the entangled penis painting is very homey.
They have the best taste in art than any AD home tour I've seen. You can tell that they collect art that they genuinely enjoy and not based on how much its worth, super refreshing to see
I love how detailed Rainn and his wife's house tour was. Love their eclectic decor. They are very proud of their humble abode and their art and pigs, rightfully so! Big fan of "The Office" TV show. Just binge-watched it this past fall
with my husband for some comic relief. My mom passed away in September 2022, and we needed cheering up. Dwight and Jim's pranks always made us smile and chuckle.
I love how Rainn honors the Dwight character so much - a lot of actors want to “get away” from the character that put them on the map but he knows it is loved by so many and chooses to embrace it!
He really had fun while making The Office ❤
I hate how Steve carrel didn’t want to be known for Michael Scott like if it’s a bad thing. Michael Scott is a legendary character so he’s trippen.
@@joseguevara3269 I think it’s more of just wanting to be more than just one character. Carrel just wants to be more than just Michael Scott not just act like he never played him
@@ABAO322 he already is though , he thinks we only see him as Michael, I remember him as Andy as well in 40 year old virgin😂, and dinner for smucks
The way he listens so intently when his wife is talking!!!

this is sarcastic right?
I love the way he listens to his wife when she speaks about the NY cardboard art. He is genuinely listening to what she has to say.
What really kills me is that he keep referencing Dwight's characteristics, I loved him in the Office and I can't believe how much of the character sticks with him. It's really heartwarming honestly.
Nice to see Dwight Schrute with a table made by Ron Swanson. They definitely would have gotten along!

What is my perfect crime? I break into Tiffany's at midnight. Do I go for the vault? No, I go for the chandelier. It's priceless. As I'm taking it down, a woman catches me. She tells me to stop. It's her father's business. She's Tiffany. I say no. We make love all night. In the morning, the cops come and I escape in one of their uniforms. I tell her to meet me in Mexico, but I go to Canada. I don't trust her. Besides, I like the cold. Thirty years later, I get a postcard. I have a son and he's the chief of police. This is where the story gets interesting. I tell Tiffany to meet me in Paris by the Trocadero. She's been waiting for me all these years. She's never taken another lover. I don't care. I don't show up. I go to Berlin. You can tell that their home has been cultivated by the things that they love and care about. The home has an aesthetic, but it's characterized by the people and pieces that they choose to place in their home.
