Awsome fire station, Cool history and trophies
For sure
The Truck and Rescue are beauties....but that Mack. Absolutely GORGEOUS!
Yeah that Mack is beautiful!
That truck color scheme is fantastic! The station is super cool too!
Yeah the color is awesome!
@@HeroesNextDoor The yellow and blue is our Downingtown West and East High School colors. That is Downingtown Pride.
I like the fire stations that look like this that our old but up to date and modern
Yeah same, Keystone Valley had an old station too that they used for a bunch of different things and then completely renovated it into what it is today!
3:26 Love the Happy Gilmore clip. lol. I'm so glad this series will last forever. I LOVE all these tours.
Awesome! Thanks! We thought the happy Gilmore clip was funny haha
Very beautiful station, i really love it!
Pretty sad that a huge station with all that money going into equipment and an array of trucks only gets 10 members show up for a call. Hopefully this video inspires more of the community to get involved!
Love these videos. Excellent quality. Keep it up!
Thanks, that means a lot!
I loved this Station Cribs !
Thanks for watching!
Cool station
Yeah for sure!
@@HeroesNextDoor it a walk in
Nice happy holidays to everybody 🎉🎁🎁🎉

Thanks! Hope you had a great Christmas too! Have a great new year!
Truck tour of the mack and the fire police
Definitely will have to do those too
Very beautiful station, it looks great!
Pretty great ❤
I should have gotten on with the FD instead of being a truck driver, after I left the Navy. I really regret not going that route. At 58 I'm to old and beat up to go in now.
Thank you for your service, Sir.
you should go to cortland ny fire station they are very nise and cool plus 3 firestations and more than 30 firetrucks it could be a series .
That sounds awesome! Do you have a contact for someone there?
You can tell it’s a VOLLIE CO everything is brand new and super clean 👍
I don't know about everything being brand new, but we try to keep everything clean
embora meu inglês seja péssimo adorei o vídeo, e deixei meu like para ajudar o canal !!!! abraço do Brasil !!!!
"although my English is terrible I loved the video, and left my like to help the channel !!!! hug from Brazil !!!!" google translated Thank you
Good job on the video can you do a startup in video tour of that old fire truck
Yeah we can do that!
We’re I I’ve the department was founded in 1810, original 2 door station still there and is a museum, big new 6 door station down the street.
I like when stations keep the original station and turn it into a museum, keep the history for future generations
@@HeroesNextDoor they still have the old Horse and carriage
4:08 they've got a whole MEGA-CASE of trophies
Yeah they go to a lot of shows and win a ton!
That one dislike was a member from Minquas!😂😂 great Job Mike!
😂😂😂
I have a Matchbox of Mack engine like that
Come up to harford county MD
That sounds awesome! Do you have a contact for someone there?
Later in the year this year we are getting 2 new trucks you should come back and do another station rigs
Can you maybe make a video explaining more in depth about fully-volunteer stations? I'm not an american but I'm very very interested in it. How does that work when it's a fully volunteer station? Is it manned 24/7 or do members get paged to come from home? Do they have a volunteer Captain/Chief? etc. Would love to learn more about the whole volunteer FD/EMS system!
We can definitely do that!
@@HeroesNextDoor Thank you so much! I'll be looking out for that video.
We are 100% volunteer, from the Chief Officers down to the newest member. The Chester County dispatch center dispatches each call and we respond from our homes or work to the firehouse, then respond to the calls on the apparatus. We encourage our members to spend as much time at the firehouse as they can. During bad weather events such as snow and heavy rain storms, some of the members will spend the night in the bunk room.
@@jeffstevens8662 Awesome! Thank you for the reply. Another question which may seem a little inappropriate but it's out of genuine curiosity. If you go through the full fire department/medical training, and are on-call pretty much 24/7, why not go full time and make a career out of it?
@@Aviran89500 Not him, but some of us are indeed doing that or trying to do that. In many places, career firefighters will volunteer elsewhere. As for others, they may work another occupation that they desire.
you should do a station cribs on Maysville kentucky
That would be awesome! Do you have a contact for someone there?
You should come check out Doyle Fire District in cheektowaga new york
We are planning a New York trip, do you have a contact for someone there?
@@HeroesNextDoor yes I do! You can reach me on instagram at fbny_matt ill give you details
Did you do a what's inside of their rescue? Interested to see what it carries.
That video we be out next Wednesday!
Can you please do a fire station that is a full time and not a volunteer
For sure! The station cribs video we did on Pottstown had paid firefighters, but also had volunteers. We are working on going to some fully paid stations in 2021.
@@HeroesNextDoor could you see if you could do a station tour of the new city of Janesville fire station in Janesville Wisconsin
Do some station cribs in the mid west
We are working on doing just that, We are headed to Greenfield IN in Feb and Green County OH. We are also scheduled to hit NYC Central Park EMS and many many others. Thank you for watching. COVID has slowed us but NOT stopped us.
What about Michigan
@@redwhitebluepatriot6174, please send contacts for whatever station you work at or want to see. We would love to come to Michigan. That’s my home state 👍🏻😉 Grand Rapids. Don't forget to subscribe and post us on your UA-cam channel for suggestions.
Sweet, could you guys come to any stations in a Kent county. I would think the websites for the departments have contacts
Hey I’d like to suggest a station. Roscoe Rockland fire department in upstate New York. They have a great station and would be very interesting in my opinion.
That sounds great! Do you have a contact for someone there?
@@HeroesNextDoor Well I meet them once a year, but I know the ex chief. His names Kieth Traveres, a amazing guy. Only contact I really have of his would be Instagram. Want me to give y’all his name on Instagram?
Yeah that would be great!
@@HeroesNextDoor perfect. It’s @Keithtravers
Why the truck is yellow?
What is fire police?
They handle traffic and scene safety. If there is a car crash they direct traffic or if there is a sports event they would handle the traffic for that.
Come to haddonfield new Jersey fire department
Send an invite to watchheroesnextdoor@gmail.com
What’s fire police?
They handle traffic and scene safety for firefighters
@@HeroesNextDoor ok
"They're the 9th oldest fire company in Chester county" .... is... is that impressive?
More impressive than the 10th
@@HeroesNextDoor true enough true enough. I live in the largest county in my state and I don't even think we have 9 companies 😂
Chester County has 39 fire companies, and used to have a few more that have since merged or disbanded, like Brandywine No. 2 in Coatesville (former Station 42)
Why don’t you take your show and travel to big cities and tape shows from other cities in the US
We are please check out the other videos. Also the “big cities” need to invite us. 😉
Its interesting to see the difference between nations fire service, in England the fire and rescue service is county based so my county fire service has 39 stations with a mix of wholetime manned and on call (paid for shouts and training) with a dedicated training facility that new on call firefighters do a 32 day course before joining there station
