Maruti Suzuki India launched the updated S-Cross earlier this month with a new petrol engine that will be the only available engine option for Nexa’s first product that was launched in 2015. The new S-Cross with its petrol engine option will now retail at a price of Rs 8.39 lakh for the base version while the top of the line version will be available for Rs 12.39 lakh (both prices ex showroom, India). The new S-Cross petrol comes in 4 variants- Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha with both manual and automatic gearbox options. Below is a list of features that come with the aforementioned variants of the new S-Cross petrol.The new S-Cross petrol comes in 4 variants- Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha.The top of the line S-Cross Alpha variant comes in both manual and automatic gearbox options but the question comes that should we prefer s cross to vitara brezza ?
The Vitara Brezza is Maruti Suzuki's sub-compact SUV, which is under 4m length and competes with Ford Eco Sport,kia sonet , mahindra xuv 300 , tata nexon and hyundai venue . This car is more of a crossover than an actual SUV. Let's watch the difference between these two cars

My friend was inching toward buying creta or Kia seltos but ended up buying an S Cross even though it was not even in his consideration to begin with. The Kia and Hyundai seemed to be overpriced for the features they were offering whereas the SCROSS seemed absolute value for money and offered more or less same features compared to the other 2 brands at a much lower price

SCross is definitely much better...especially ride quality & high speed stability.
Important aspect is this same car is in Europe which has already got 5 star NCap rating...which is also highest.

S Cross test is not done at all. Just because both are from same platform, they are expected to have same Rating.
NCAP gave 5 star crash rating to S cross in feb 2015.... Check it out...

Sir pickup and suspension k case main dono hi car exact same hai , but s cross ki rear seat ka under thigh support and cushioning slightly better hai Vitara brezza se. Isliye s cross thodi comfortable feel hoti hai seating main.

Good comparision, you need to highlight on maneuvering as well. Although S Cross will give better stability due to difference in ground clearance but maneuvering and city driving should be better in Brezza as I expect the turing radius of Brezza to be lower as compared to 5.5m in S Cross. This is am important point while purchasing one of the above model, so guys take a test drive before putting your money, however my vote goes in favour of S Cross only.

If you want a SUV look then go for Brezza. Both are good. 1L more is not worth for base segment. Ground clearance is also matters. Otherwise go for cars like ciaz…

If you have driven cars in US and Europe, Then S cross will be your choice. It offers features in Base varient that others offer in higher variety that will cost as much as S Cross.

@@sahibverma2783 no it's not free they are charging 19,010.for additional 3 years,so 2+3=5 years. So its worth ,if anything goes wrong mechanically/electric part in AT transmission, advice
