Great video Mia, I started my 401k at age 28, I'm now 53 and have over a million in it. So it took me about 25 years to reach. Some years I maxed out and others I couldn't but I always contributed. I remember my neighbor always drove a Mercedes, one day they sold their house short sale !! They were using their home like an ATM. Be frugal my friends
Wonderful! It's a shame that flashier and more sensational videos get so many views when this is the exact type of content that young people need to know.
Rule #1 is the most important rule. Start ASAP! Yes it’s better late than never but there’s so much grounds to make up when you do. This needs to be taught in HS.
Thank you, Mia! I increased my income a few years ago, and have been saving and invested as much as I can. I’m 37, and for the first time in my life I can actually see my net worth starting to grow.
get a good college degree in a profession where there is a constant demand - then pay yourself first (invest) in the American Way (stock market) through ETFs and/or mutual funds.......let time work for you.....and try not to be materialistic needing the latest cars, gadgets, etc.....ps try not to fund your college education through loans - find other methods (for me it was an enlistment in the Army when I was a 20-year old).
Great video! Think we are on the right path as we get closer to retirement! I have maxed out my TSP for a number of years now. Can’t wait for your next videos!

#3 , you need income . Nothing is dumber than telling somebody with no money where to invest. Train yourself, get trade credentials.
Are you on Instagram?
Hi! I'm not on Instagram yet. I plan to create one soon for personal finance. I'll post a reply here when I do. Thanks!
