GM TH350 Shift Selector Shaft Seal Replacement

This video demonstrates the procedure to remove and install a new seal in a TH-350 transmission. The same exact procedure also applies to the TH-400, 700R4 and 4L60 transmission. The Evercraft 7769250 tool was purchased from NAPA (link below). On this particular 1973 Monte Carlo transmission flied was dripping from the shift linkage. If you think your transmission pan seal is leaking, you might want to check your shift linkage seal first, or if you are changing you transmission fluid and filter you may want to spend the extra couple of dollars and do the shifter seal as well.
