If you dont mind, how heavy are you? I race a TE300i at the moment, I run sprockets 12/48 so there is loads of bottom end grunt. I ride only hard enduro / tech riding and the bottom end on the 300 comes in very very handy. I am considering going over to an FE250. Your honest opinion please do you feel the FE250 has enough bottom end grunt to do the extreme climbs we do on the Te300's? My weight is 87kg and Im 183cm tall.y reason for considering the move is the 300 is feeling a bit heavy and sometimes I do feel like Im fighting the bike a little, Im hoping an FE250 might be lighter and smoother. Im no stranger to 4 strokes as I used to race a 501 Im just worried that the FE250 is going to be under powered for me. Anybody out there moved from a 250 or 300 TE over to an FE250 lately? Would love to get some input please. Thanks in advance.
This would be perfect for a beginner. I’ve got a husky TE150 two stroke. It’s ace but it’s fiery and needs revving to keep in the power so for a newb it’s hard to ride well as it’s easy to spin the rear tyre on it climbing hills. The 250 4 stroke would be a lot tamer and easier for a newb. Update - after posting this I actually got the FE250 myself and it’s fantastic. Def the perfect bike for a novice

How's this new Husky 250 compared to the previous 250 FE? has it more torque at low range? and how the suspension works? :-)
