McClellan participated in dog fighting. McClellan's trainer and family admitted that McClellan was involved with fighting pitbulls, and on one occasion had used tape to bind the jaws of a Labrador shut before allowing his pet pit bull "Deuce" to kill it. Strange case of karma i'm afraid anyone that does that to a poor defenceless dog deserves what ever comes there way

I remeber all these years - great interview - I remeber McCllellan threatneing Nigels Dad - and he wanted to Kill Benn - but it fired up Benn even more. Benns Corner were amazing that night to be fair. And the end of the 1st round Benn came back to his corner after taking a hammering and they say Benn down and told him McCllellan is fucked and blown himself out and go out there and dish it back on him and Benn came out the 2nd round and was a different animal totally.

Barry Hearn the snake. If Benn won that it would have allowed Eubank to keep the WBO because he didnt pay the sanctioning fees. And theres Eubank always wittering on about the snakes in the sport when Hearn his promoter was trying to do the snide tricks for him.Glad they got Warren in because the fight was sorted and i got to see it after paying my £50. I saw a video with Gary Stretch who fought Eubank saying he was promised £1 million to fight Eubank for the title.Even if he lost which he did Hearn only paid him £20,000.If Stretch wasnt getting £1 miliion he should have been paid way more than 20 grand.Barry Hearn was really the biggest snake in British boxing.

It was easily the most brutal boxing match I've ever seen in my life, from beginning to end they went for each other relentlesly. After the fight was over, and you could see Benn was upset, not because of what had happned to McClellan, but because they'd expected Benn to be beaten to a pulp by this guy. He was saying how they bought McClellan over "to beat me up". I think that day Benn was just motivated by fury and the desire to show them that he wasnt a punk to use , to be a notch on a someone elses belt. Instead, Benn beat McClellan up. I have to be honest I was a massive Nigel Benn fan so I was pissed off at the way they were just expecting him to be a sacrificial lamb for McClellan.

Isn't this the fight mcclellan, s team said Benn was on drugs? Found a trace of blood they had tested etc?

Yeah it is. However, it was McClellan's clown "trainer" who made that accusation and it ultimately led to nothing.

Remember watching that fight Benn going out through the ropes then coming back in it was some battle won of the best fights I've ever seen but won of the saddest just goes to show if you don't have a moral compass how carma can catch up with you mc clellan was a bad basturd.

This was back when you get the best boxers in the division to fight each other. In some divisions you can’t even get any of the top 5 let alone top 2 to agree to fight each other. Benn’s problem was he could be inconsistent but when he was on it he was great.
