I remember when I watched this episode, the use of 12's A Good Man in the "I'm the Only One of Me" track was powerful. I love how Murray Gold brings back old themes in such impactful ways. Also his use of a motif from The Long Song in Dot and Bubble... I can't wait for this soundtrack to come out, so thank you for making these covers while we wait for Murray to get around to it.
I like this somewhat thematically linked grouping of tracks in lieu of your typical episode suite. I love the original touches you've added to the instrumentation, namely all the bells and chimes.
This is amazing! I've loved the music in this season! The new music including ruby's theme and the fifteenth doctors theme has been incredible and I've loved the new versions of old themes too! Thanks for this! 😊😊
I love this! Particularly “I’m The Only One of Me”- I did click until just now that the same theme plays at the end of Empire of Death. In Space Babies the Doctor is choosing to same the snot monster. He’s the Doctor, every life is worth saving; even the monsters. *Spoilers of Empire of Death Then in Empire of Death he realises that for the first time as the 15th Doctor, he’s going to have to kill the monster. Murray Gold you clever bastard! Intrigued to listen to the theme at the end of Dot and Bubble now- that was a group of monsters who refused to let the Doctor save them 🤔
