One of my old school friends had the Sega MegaDrive compilation for the PlayStation 3 many years ago. And it also had FLICKY - which was one of my favorite games 😹😺👍🕹️. The game is purrfectly challenging 😹. But still pawsome 🐾 😺👍.

Some interesting choices there. Haha, all before my time of course, so I've not played any of them. Have played a later version of Lemmings but other than that not heard of the others. The last two were pretty cool looking. The Jumpman one was funny, I liked that one.

Cheers for the response Colin, interesting first pick, I have never seen or played that game before, loved the twist with the last letter. The second game is a game I love and will need to look into emulating the original at some point. Your third pick was on my list but I could only pick four and felt I could have picked forty. It is an amazing intro to a game filled with intrigue and mystery as to what is going on. I was not very good at the game however. I'm pretty sure your fourth pick was on another well known youtubers list, a game I have never played but the intro is definitely fantastic. Great video Colin and hope you are doing well.

Kind of funny, because Frenzy (the sequel to Berserk) came out the same year and uses a similar game mechanic in that your own bullets can kill you. I can't get on with Frenzy either, but unlike this mess of a game, it's not janky, it's just a bit overly complicated and ambitious for the time it came out.

The underwater shoot em up portion isn't that bad, but the tower climbing portion has always been very frustrating.

It took me forever to figure out you refueled by just staying over the buildings while on the map screen. I just used to think you were meant to be forced to the roads once that happened. Played a lot of these games when I was still too young to understand what half of the manuals were trying to tell me. I always wanted to know what the seemingly useless green buildings were supposed to do and could never figure it out; all other buildings had an in-game use. Looking at the manual now, they just seem to be for gaining more points at the end of a day and are referred to as "Lunar Command" buildings.

Yeah, I'm not really into beat em ups either. There are a couple of exceptions, but I'm not a fan of the style as a whole.

The Arcade game of a LucasFilm movie WILLOW looks much better 😺👍 than the Commodore 64 and Amiga versions 😹. The NES version of WILLOW is actually brilliant, too 😺👍🕹️.

Loved the crazy cabinet on this one but never liked the game. Also, as you say, nearly impossible to emulate. I generally pass on Wacko. Awesome vid though Ponder (not Ponda)

Ever since i bought a compilation, MIDWAY ARCADE TREASURES 2, for my PlayStation 2 somewhere in the 2000's, i noticed this wacky game and gave a first try. Even though it was absolutely wackily bizarre 😹, i still love this game 😹😺👍🕹️. JUST... ABSOLUTELY... BRILLIANT 😹👍🕹️! Also... WAH WAH WAH WAAAAAH 😹👍...

Very good response Ponder. I will agree with others that today the Internet provides us with more information than we had access to in the past and we can choose to access it or not. In the past we were stuck with what little we had to go on. What we have now, for better or worse, is preferable to not having it at all. Good video!

The only thing I "pirate" these days are older games for older systems (and MAME roms) that companies are not going to make any money off of anyway, but as far as any modern newer games, If I can't afford it, or have no interest in it, I'm not going to play it, simple as that.
