Wonder how many people who saw this at the time thought the guy dancing was a Michael Jackson wanna-be when ironically, Jeffrey Daniels was an inspiration to Jackson
This has to be the best version of Silly Love Songs. As a hard-core Toto fan, I enjoy seeing Jeff Porcaro (R.I.P) and Steve Lukather on this. The bass player is awesome as well. I love the horns on this too.
The base guitar player is Louis Johnson of The Brothers Johnson. He had played most of the bass on off the wall album and Billy Jean. From Thriler album. Paul met Louis for the recording session of a song called " girl is mine" for Michael Jackson's off the wall album(collaboration of Michael and Paul) recording session in 1979. Paul loved Louis's base and called Louis himself to asked him to be in this movie.
Did anyone notice that the drummer Jeff Porcaro, and guitarist Steve Lukather from the band Toto play in this video? thats awesome.

The bass player did a great version of Paul's original bass playing!
Such a nice guitar solo from Steve Lukather! Even on a re-make of an old Wings tunes Luke brought the goods. Such a talent.
The entire planet is in dire need of silly love songs.
You have to understand the times to get the joke of why Paul and band are dressed like this.
Even without the glasses, and with all that makeup. You can tell that's Jeff Porcaro by his body language behind the kit as well as the grooves
This entire performance is like 20 cents flat, and I can't listen to it
i love the makeup/costume so much
That bass solo just gives me goosebumps.
Jeffrey Daniel-what a fantastic dancer he is. He taught Michael Jackson the moonwalk & did the "lean" in this song (
Louis Johnson was a monster on the bass! Great song.
Omg.... That was superband
Awesome. Damn, 1984. Wow! I was 19 and had the world by the balls, just did not realize it. Great stuff from Sir Paul.
This is my favorite part of "Broadstreet".
I love Linda's visual and acting here SO MUCH!! She was just perfect 💓
The bass solo at 4:30 is SO. FREAKING. AWESOME.

we all know that the best part of this song is that bass solo and the way the bass player carries himself throughout that bass solo.... Ba-Dow !!!
