OMG them little baby bears was so cute , wow moom had 3 babys , but you done the right thing not getting out of the car because momma bear would have got you thay are very protecting there babys , also remember to lock your doors because bears knows how to open a car door , wow jenn i was so excited like you was seeing them baby bear , also Beautiful mountains you showed us thank you....❤❤❤

The colors in the Fall are magical on this route, but lots of cars/tourists. Cant wait for Jen to see it & visit the apple orchards in the Fall. So much to see & do in every season!

I love the Blue Ridge Parkway.. If your ever near Mount Pisgah go eat at the restaurant at the Pisgah Inn.. It's a really nice place to eat. The restaurant at Mount Mitchell Cafe and Eatery is also very good.. Both have great food and very Beautiful views as well.. 💙

Really enjoy travels with Jen! In the area and down to Cashiers and into Georgia there are really beautiful drives. A few don't involve nosebleed high places but the best ones do! Maybe rent a cabin at a state park for an over night experience? And show off the beautiful cabins, as well as extend your drive a bit.
Jen, I have been to the Grand Canyon three times. I am also very afraid of heights. Trust me, the overlooks are not a big deal. There are railings and you are not anywhere near straight drop offs really. Usually, the overlooks are back off the cliffs. You are not looking straight down the canyon. I have never been to the glass floor which hangs over the canyon ... That is over an hour or two down the road I think from the main area of the canyon. The only part which made me nervous was when my father in law went out on some rocks near the edge.
