    Hey Charles, I was waiting to hear the update. So glad you got back in. I was a CCA as well but now I’m an MVO. You are right it is an investment. Keep that positive attitude. That’s good you get reimbursed for mileage and per diem.

      Howdy howdy 👋😁👍🏻 thanks 🙏 Ya I have the day off and needed to edit a couple of other hot sauce videos scheduled for the weekend 👍🏻 and shoot an update video for y’all 😉👍🏻👊🏻 today! Ya when she told me that, I was definitely like huh…???🤨🤨🤔🤔 lol especially only putting in a couple of hours. Hold on, let me figure this out! So I made 4.5 times my worked hours lol 😂. Worked 2 hours=$37.38, driving, mileage and /deim= $168.92. 😜😉😁👍🏻 Hell ya I’ll take that!

    I'm a new employee with the USPS. On the website Lite Blue I can't put in my direct deposit information in. It says can't be updated at this time. It's been like that since I started working. So how am I going to be paid? Next week is my first paycheck but how they going to pay me? Any information would be helpful.

    • @smokinchuck
      @smokinchuck  Рік тому +3

      You’ll receive your first paycheck via paper check at your facility from your supervisor 😉👍🏻 After that you should be able to set up your direct deposit. I had the same issue when I started and was told you had to wait after your 1st check then you can sign up for it. I have no reason why they do it that way 🤷‍♂️. Hope this help! Btw? Thank you for watching! 👍🏻😉

      It’s going good! 👍🏻 here in about another week I’ll be going on my service break for 5 days as per union contract. Then start my 2nd contract year. Thank you for watching! 😉👍🏻

      @@smokinchuck I'll be the first CCA to be hired in 3 years and a regular has been waiting for one to be hired so she can retire and another regular is getting ready to transfer to another location, so I suspect I'll move to regular as fast as my hiring process took. Glad to hear things are going well for you. Everyone in this USPS CCA YT space hasn't made a video in over a year, and I've been trying to figure out why.

    Thanks for the update. What tour/ hours do you work?

      It varies for me since I’m low man on the totem pole lol 😂. So if someone goes on vacation? I’ll be scheduled to fill in that time slot to cover their shift. 😉👍🏻 Again thank you for watching!

    Is the Pse job difficult Charles

    • @smokinchuck
      @smokinchuck  2 роки тому +10

      No! You’ll get plenty of walking in lol 😂 When I work 7-8 hrs I usually get about 8 miles of walking in lol. Other than that about 5 miles. But when sorting packages, you’re just passing the barcode under the scanner and the computer will tell you which route it goes to and sort the packages to that route pumpkin/tub. Once done with sorting, then you scan your missents and misshipped packages and sort those to the appropriate bags to get them to the correct location 😉👍🏻. Then if you have packages that won’t scan or read the barcode, then you make a new barcode label and stick it on so the scanner will read it. It will be a little overwhelming at first, a lot of information. But it’s a routine job and you’ll get used to everything and learn the little tips and tricks as you go from people. I actually like this PSE job better than when I was a CCA before.

    Hey Charles, Thanks For Taking Time Out Your Day To Share Information. I Do Have A Question. When Starting Out As A Sales/SVS Distribution PSE Did You Have To Go Straight Into Training ? Far As Like Training For The Window And To Take The Window Exam Or They Place You In The Back First Starting Out ?

    • @smokinchuck
      @smokinchuck  2 роки тому +2

      Thank you for watching, I started out in the back and was helping another small facility for just over 2 weeks and then started working in the back at my own facility. But also found out that I’m also just working in the back and not up front. Because my job code is a 813 and not a 814. 814 works in back and up front as a window clerk. But your facility may be different? Again thank you for watching 😁👍🏻

    Do you happen to know how long it takes for a pse to become career

    • @smokinchuck
      @smokinchuck  2 роки тому

      Well every facility is different is to what their needs are. If people retire, quit, transfer and etc… But at least no more than 2 yrs, to turn career according to the union contract. So after 2 yrs of being a PSE, you’ll become a career employee automatically 😁👍🏻

  • @TheMemfice

    Did you took the PSE exam?

    • @smokinchuck
      @smokinchuck  2 роки тому +2

      The assessment test when applying or the other exam for when your trained for the window? I did take the assessment test when I applied the first time for a PSE position at a different location. But haven’t taken the window exam as I’m only sorting packages 📦. My job code is an 813, 814 sorts packages and works the window when needed 👍🏻
